Dubstep heavyweight JANTSEN returns with the eagerly awaited eighth installment of his renowned annual mix Gutter Music 8, premiering exclusively on SoundCloud.
The mixtape first launching in 2007, the Gutter Music series has become widely recognized as a cultural touchstone within the bass music community, celebrated for its inventive a cappellas, heavy drops, and masterclass combination of underground authenticity with refined production. Over the past 16 years, Jantsen has evolved from spinning in attics and basements to commanding stages nationwide, solidifying his status as one of dubstep’s most influential figures.
This year, the release arrives on the heels of Jantsen’s highly anticipated collaboration with Ravenscoon, “Full Send,” released via Deadbeats. The single serves as a bridge between eras, blending the grit and attitude of old-school dubstep with contemporary sound design. The track will take center stage live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre for Jantsen and Ravenscoon’s co-headline performance on Saturday March 28, alongside a stacked lineup featuring WonkyWilla, Jason Leech, CHOZEN b2b Noetika, and Dev Sounds.
