ILLENIUM Kicks Off His Nine-Night Sphere Run with Opening Night of ODYSSEY

Last night, March 5 GRAMMY-nominated electronic artist ILLENIUM set the stage for a major career moment with the launch of  ILLENIUM Presents ODYSSEY, his nine night run which continues tonight, March 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 and April 2, 3 & 4 at Sphere in Las Vegas.

Throughout the show fans experienced live the music of ILLENIUM’s new album ODYSSEY including the iHeartRadio Music Awards “Dance Song of the Year” nominated “In My Arms” featuring HAYLA, “Don’t Want Your Love” featuring Ellie Goulding, “War” featuring LØ Spirit and many infectious album selections that feature Kid Cudi, Ryan Tedder, Bastille & Dabin and more.   

Opening night guests were also treated to the premiere of “Die Living,” a brand new ILLENIUM collaboration with David Guetta with vocals by Dustin Lynch. ILLENIUM’s special guest Alok also joined him for “To The Moon” and the show’s Musical Director Alexander Seaver also known as MAKO took to the stage to perform “Into The Dark” and “I’ll Come Runnin’,” their collaboration with Zeds Dead. A string quartet supported throughout.

Serving as his artistic canvas, Sphere’s immersive technologies – including the world’s highest-resolution LED display that wraps up, over and around the audience and the world’s most advanced concert-grade audio system, Sphere Immersive Sound – formed the jewelbox for the multi-sensory experience of ODYSSEY, ILLENIUM’s most ambitious project to date. To bring his vision to life, ILLENIUM worked with Berlin-headquartered animation studio Woodblock (www.woodblock.studio), celebrated for its immersive cinematic storytelling and integrated approach.
