GRABBITZ MARKS FULL CREATIVE RESET WITH BASS-FOCUSED SINGLE “BLOOD ON MY HANDS”
After a bold artistic reset and full creative reintroduction, Grabbitz launches his next era with “Blood On My Hands,” a raw, bass-driven single out via Breakaway Projects/Sony.
Marking his first release following a complete visual and sonic reboot, “Blood On My Hands” signals a decisive return to the sound that originally built Grabbitz’s reputation as one of bass music’s most technically gifted producers. After several years exploring vocal-forward and rock-influenced territory (which yielded an alternative radio hit and Canadian Gold single), the new record re-centers the project around heavy low-end, intricate sound design, and emotionally charged production.
The release follows a dramatic rebrand at the top of 2026: a wiped social presence, new visual identity, and symbolic haircut representing a full-circle moment for the producer who’s historically collaborated with heavyweights like Zedd, Deadmau5, and Illenium.
“A decade ago there was a moment where bass music inspired me so profoundly that I dropped everything to chase it,” Grabbitz says. “Now, after all the places it has taken me, that moment happened again. Also, the song feels like a Jackson Pollock painting.”
Sonically, “Blood On My Hands” balances chaos and control, distorted bass textures, fractured rhythms, and cinematic tension collide in a track that feels both visceral and meticulously constructed. It’s a statement piece: not a crossover, not a feature vehicle, but a producer’s record built to announce exactly where Grabbitz is headed next.
The single arrives as Grabbitz enters a high-momentum stretch of live dates, including performances with Excision and Said The Sky, Riot Games’ Los Angeles event, and major festival appearances throughout the new year. More releases tied to the new era are expected in the coming months.
With “Blood On My Hands,” Grabbitz doesn’t just release a new song, he reclaims a legacy.
