BadComppany Opens Flight Week Brazil With No Rules EP
Dirtybird launches its Flight Week Brazil writing camp series with the first release from Brazilian duo BadComppany. Created as part of the sessions held in Belo Horizonte, No Rules is an adventurous two-track EP featuring Breno Miranda that captures the collaborative spirit and global exchange at the core of Dirtybird’s Flight Week series.
No Rules channels the immediacy and unpredictability of the writing camp environment. ‘WTF’ hits with Breno Miranda’s punchy vocal hook and low-end drive, while ‘Loco’ dives into rhythmic experimentation, highlighting the percussive, playful energy born from the camp’s freeform sessions. Together, the EP reflects the bold creativity and inventive momentum.
Following the success of the inaugural Flight Week in San Francisco, Flight Week Brazil continues Dirtybird’s mission of merging creativity, community, and cross-cultural collaboration. The week-long writing camp in Belo Horizonte and multi-date tour brought together local talents and rising voices to create and perform, inspiring new connections, sharing Brazilian creativity with a global audience, and shaping the evolving sound of Dirtybird.
BadComppany is the Brazilian duo of hip-hop veteran DJ Zeu and rising producer Raphael Cordoso. They launched the project in 2024 with their debut single ‘Too Mush Baby’ via fellow Brazilian artist Cour T.’s Colapso label. Building on early attention for their inventive fusion of classic hip-hop and modern electronic sounds, BadComppany made their Dirtybird debut last fall with the two-track LINK EP before joining the label’s writing camp series.
