I HATE MODELS Launches Disco Inferno With Factory 93 at Factory Town Miami
I Hate Models, the French techno artist known for his emotionally charged, high-impact sound and uncompromising presence, unveils Disco Inferno, a new event series dedicated to total release and unfiltered expression. The series launches May 16 in Miami at Factory Town, in collaboration with Factory 93, the prestigious techno imprint of Insomniac Events.

Designed as a space for excess and uninhibited energy on the dance floor, Disco Inferno is conceived as more than a party — it is a high-voltage ritual where music is pushed to its limits and the crowd becomes part of the experience. There are no spectators, only participants. Embracing chaos, sweat, distortion, and connection, the series captures underground nightlife at its most visceral.
This marks the beginning of a new chapter in I Hate Models’ world-building beyond the DJ booth. Future editions will expand globally, each adapting to its environment while remaining rooted in the series’ core philosophy of wild energy and total release.
Presale sign-ups are available now via email and SMS at LINK. The presale begins Friday, February 20 at 1PM ET, followed by the public on-sale at 3PM ET the same day.

Lee Burridge Shares Full Robot Heart Set Live At Burning Man 2025
Renowned DJ, producer, curator, and labelhead Lee Burridge today releases his full three-hour Robot Heart set, recorded live at Burning Man 2025. Captured during his Saturday morning sunrise performance, the set documents one of the most anticipated moments of the week on the Playa and offers a rare glimpse into the atmosphere that has made his Robot Heart appearances so enduring.
https://youtu.be/S7OBT3kQAHQ?si=wYJw6ffuqGmtbTtL
Recorded as night gave way to day, the set unfolds as a continuous journey, reflecting Burridge’s signature approach to storytelling through music. The performance moves through moments of subtle build and emotional release, shaped by the shifting energy of the crowd and the evolving desert landscape. Alongside unreleased material and personal selections, the set features music from the All Day I Dream catalog, woven seamlessly into the flow of the morning.
The release captures the essence of what makes Robot Heart such a singular environment, expanding beyond the DJ booth to reflect the diversity of people, perspectives, and experiences that define Burning Man. Through sweeping visuals and intimate moments alike, the set offers a wider view of the Playa, highlighting the connections formed between strangers, the movement of the crowd, and the shared sense of presence that unfolds as night turns to day. Rather than a traditional performance recording, it documents a collective experience shaped as much by its participants as by the music itself.
Marking a milestone year for Burridge, 2025, he premiered his documentary Sound of a Dream and released his November Snowflakes EP with Lost Desert on All Day I Dream. The label continued its global tour series, where Burridge headlines each open-air session, with shows across Tulum, Ibiza, London, Rio de Janeiro, Georgia, Egypt, and North America. The label’s 2026 tour will kick off next month in Cape Town and Rio de Janeiro, returning to London in April and more dates to be announced throughout the year.
Peekaboo Evolves His Sound in Sophomore Release, "Are We Dreaming?"

“Are We Dreaming?”
Not just the title of bass heavy hitter Peekaboo’s sophomore release, but a question so many fans have been asking, since it’s been nearly two years following his debut album, Eyes Wide Open.
Eyes Wide Open was heralded by the bass community as “legacy-defining” and “the direction dubstep is headed,” with its distinct dark and deep sound. And with its diverse spectrum of styles and subgenres, Are We Dreaming? seems like the natural evolution and step up from Eyes. Peekaboo shared on his Instagram, “After my first album, I learned so much about myself and what styles I’m really into. This project really represents who I am.”

Peekaboo sounds extra “UK” on Dreaming in comparison to his debut, with an increased focus on UKG and UK dubstep. Tracks like “Old School”, “After Party”, and “Pump It Up" bring the UK grime/garage sound with recruited features from prominent UK names such as Badklaat, P Money, Flava D, and rapper/MC Scrufizzer.
His impressive feature roster doesn’t end there – he also tags in artists like borne, Nitepunk and LYNY for their experience in the trap space for his tracks “Want It” and “Answer All My Prayers.” And of course, we can’t gloss over his huge grab of Skrillex and Flowdan for the monster collab “6 Million,” which has been highly anticipated by fans for years.
The album continues spanning subgenres – hitting some bass house with “Party Time,” some heavy experimental bass with “Séance” and “Are We Dreaming,” and even closing with some hip-hop/wave in “No City Like Mine.” And of course, for the OG Peekaboo fans, there’s still plenty of his characteristic dark bass sound in “Yeke Yeke,” “Loco,” and crowd favorite “Open Up.”
The release of this LP is just the beginning of Peekaboo’s 2026 run. He followed up the release with a US tour announcement, as well as confirmation that he’s still sitting on “so much more unreleased music” (so those of us still waiting for the RL Grime collab can rest easy!).

ALAN WALKER ENLISTS ITALIAN VOCALIST ALESSIA LABATE FOR EMOTIONAL DRIVEN SINGLE ‘NOT HOME’
The upward momentum of Alan Walker’s career continues as he returns with ‘Not Home’, a new collaborative single alongside Italian pop/dance singer-songwriter Alessia Labate. Emotionally driven and understated in its approach, the track leans into atmosphere and connection rather than high-impact spectacle. Subtle yet impactful, it reveals a more reflective side of Walker’s sound while introducing a vocal performance that anchors the release in genuine feeling.

Built around spacious chords, restrained energy and a slow-burning progression, ‘Not Home’ carries the melodic hallmarks that have defined Walker’s global success, while allowing room for emotion to take centre stage. The production unfolds with patience, creating a sense of distance and longing that mirrors the song’s central themes of belonging and emotional displacement.
Alessia Labate’s vocal plays a defining role throughout. Her topline is both intimate and immediate, delivered with a softness that adds depth and vulnerability to the track’s message. Rather than functioning as a traditional feature, her voice shapes the song’s identity, providing the emotional weight that brings Walker’s production to life. The release follows a strong run of high-profile collaborations for Alessia, including her recent appearance on ‘Gimme The Love’ alongside pioneering electronic figure Armin van Buuren and Seth Hills, underlining her growing presence within the global dance scene.
The collaboration feels natural and balanced, with both artists contributing equally to the final result. Walker’s finelytuned sonic framework and Alessia’s expressive delivery come together to create a track that resonates on a personal level, tapping into the universal experience of searching for a place, or feeling, that truly feels like home.
‘Not Home’ arrives as a considered addition to Alan Walker’s evolving catalogue and is set to feature on his upcoming artist album ‘Rise of the Drones’. It also marks a standout moment for Alessia Labate, highlighting a collaboration rooted in emotion, restraint and clarity of vision. Designed to connect rather than overwhelm, the track is set to resonate well beyond its initial listen.
YUSSI & MÆDM Deliver a Desire-Driven DnB Rush with “LIKE THAT”
Opening 2026 with a statement release, YUSSI and MÆDM join forces for their first collaboration of the year on “LIKE THAT,” a late-night drum & bass cut released via Monstercat that leans as heavily into emotion as it does momentum.
Built on a restless low-end and tightly wound percussion, “LIKE THAT” thrives in the space between restraint and release. The track doesn’t rush to make its point; instead, it simmers. Sub-bass rolls beneath clipped vocal phrases, creating a hypnotic pull that feels designed for dimly lit dancefloors and post-midnight sets where time starts to blur. When the drop finally lands, it doesn’t explode — it locks in, favoring groove and propulsion over excess.
There’s a deliberate sensuality woven into the track’s DNA. According to YUSSI, “LIKE THAT pulls you into a state of late night euphoria, moving away from inhibitions and towards desires… guided towards the person who makes you feel high when they’re around.” That sentiment translates clearly in the production choices: the bassline feels intimate rather than aggressive, while atmospheric layers add a sense of closeness, as if the track is less about commanding a room and more about connecting within it.
MÆDM’s influence shows in the track’s polish and pacing. Each section breathes, allowing tension to build naturally rather than relying on dramatic switch-ups. This approach gives “LIKE THAT” replay value the kind of track that reveals its nuances after multiple listens, whether on a proper sound system or through headphones.

I WANT EDM's Lights All Night Day two Hit-list! 2026 here we come!
Wednesday, Dec. 31st.
After a hardy breakfast and much-needed black coffee, we are back for day two!

Warmed up from Day 1, we’re diving in headfirst on Day 2 with Crankdat! A name that’s been on the rise and slapped across every festival stage known to man this past year, Crankdat is without a doubt going to go hard in the paint for Lights All Night this year. Fresh off the drop of his latest Remix Machine Vol. 3, this handsome impresario is ready to make your ears bleed! And who knows? With the Levity boys on the bill, they may have a few surprise tricks up their sleeves! Kicking things into gear on the Metroplex stage, Crankdat is a LAN must-see!
Now don't lose your spot or hold your pee because GRiZ is up next!!! Wednesday's underlying theme centers on the main stage at the start of the evening. With so much new music released this year, one can only imagine the set list Mr. GRiZ and Probcause have in store for the Lights All Night fam. Dropping this past Friday, his latest track “Nobody Else (w/ Kaleena Zanders)” is surely set to be rinsed, along with the monstrous Tape B & Creg collab “Light You Up”. Currently in the middle of the 12 days of Grizmas, this globe-trotter has hit the road full-force after his recent hiatus. One can expect an ample amount of bass, smooth, funky vibes, and plenty of love to guide us into the new year!
Next, I plan to stay a bit longer and catch HAMDI’s performance! Returning to my UK roots, this veteran artist is a must-see for me. Since I’ve never seen him live before, I need to experience his extensive skills. He’s dropped a 5-track EP called “Abomination” this summer, and Hamdi is bound to showcase his unique style. I love how he mixes UK garage with tribal, almost Middle Eastern-inspired sounds into his music. "Abomination" features many energetic tracks, and I’m sure he’ll get weird and vibey on the main stage. So, travel across the oceans and check out Hamdi with us!
The next moral dilemma is who to ring in the New Year with?!?! Although any artist on the bill is sure to do an impeccable job, I’m going to kick it in the streets with TVBOO! I know most might think I'm crazy for not going to Porter Robinson's DJ set, but that Mississippi Mud flap is calling my name! TVBOO sets are fun and high-energy, with his heavy dubstep/brostep sound! The last time I saw TVBOO, there were American flags and flying dicks dancing all over the screen. One can only imagine his New Year's visuals… Coming off the recent drop of his annual “Stuff Me Mix” this past Thanksgiving, there will be plenty of bangers to keep the crowd moving. With warm Texas temperatures, it’ll be nice to dance under the stars and ring in the New Year with TVBOO.
Lastly, is our final Headliner. We are going to switch things up and head over to the Disco Rodeo stage for the final performance of the weekend. Yes, you guessed it, Chris Lorenzo & Matroda baby! This monstrous Latin tech-house B2B is going to be insane! With a smooth groove and buttery transitions, this B2B is going to glide us into our final hours immaculately! As much as I do love me some vibey house music, I do hope Matroda throws in some of those Drum and Bass VIPs from his latest Variations in Production EP. These tracks will match perfectly with Chris Lorenzo’s high-energy, punchy beats during this highly anticipated set! No matter which direction these guys take it, you can't miss this wicked B2B with these House masters!

So, grab your dancing shoes and slam a Bang! It’s time to dance into 2026 baby!

Looking Back at Forbidden Kingdom 2025: A Bass-Fueled Takeover and Why 2026 Is Already Unmissable
Forbidden Kingdom 2025 proved once again why it stands as one of the most dominant bass music festivals in the country. From earth-shaking dubstep to high-energy Drum and Bass, the Orlando-based Insomniac festival delivered a relentless weekend packed with massive sound, immersive production, and unforgettable moments that left fans already counting down to next year.
A Bass-Driven Lineup That Set the Standard
This year’s Forbidden Kingdom lineup was nothing short of a powerhouse. With headliners like EXCISION, CRANKDAT, SKULL MACHINE, and WOOLI, the festival curated a sonic battlefield for bass lovers of every subgenre. Each stage delivered heavy drops, cinematic visuals, and nonstop energy, reminding attendees why Forbidden Kingdom has become a staple in the bass music community.
Starting Strong With Drum and Bass at Mystic Stage
Kicking off the weekend with Drum and Bass was easily one of the best decisions made all festival long. Watching MAYLAY open Mystic Stage and absolutely dominate her Forbidden Kingdom debut set, set the tone for what was to come. The crowd energy was high, the rhythms were relentless, and it was the perfect introduction to a weekend fueled by bass.
Exploring the Forbidden Kingdom Grounds
One of the standout aspects of any Insomniac event is the sheer amount of experiences beyond the music, and Forbidden Kingdom 2025 was no exception. Between sets, festival-goers could be found diving into side quests like skin marbling, exploring interactive art installations, and taking photos with the countless dragon statues scattered across the grounds. Even without a set on your schedule, there was never a dull moment.

Community and Crowd Energy Elevated Every Set
Being surrounded by fellow bass fans elevated the entire experience. Jaw-dropping performances like SLANDER B2B SVDDEN DEATH felt even heavier thanks to the collective energy of the crowd. When everyone around you is fully locked in, headbanging and screaming every drop, the music hits harder. Forbidden Kingdom thrives on that shared intensity.
EXCISION’s Closing Set Sealed the Deal
Closing out the festival, EXCISION delivered a finale that was nothing short of legendary. His set was a masterclass in bass music, featuring crushing drops, massive visuals, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why he remains one of the most influential names in the scene. After a closing set like that, it’s nearly impossible not to wonder what you’d be missing if you skipped Forbidden Kingdom next year.
Forbidden Kingdom 2026 Is Already Heating Up
As if 2025 wasn’t enough, Forbidden Kingdom 2026 is already building serious hype. Early lineup teases include heavy hitters like SUBTRONICS, ATLIENS, and LIL TEXAS. This, signaling yet another year of genre-pushing bass and high-octane performances. With the bar set so high this year, expectations for next year are sky-high and rightfully so.

Lock In Your Ticket Early
Between the unforgettable moments of Forbidden Kingdom 2025 and the exciting lineup teases for next year, one thing is clear: this is not a festival you want to miss. Tickets won’t last long, and if this year proved anything, it’s that Forbidden Kingdom only continues to level up. Lock in your ticket now, before you’re left watching your friend's from the sidelines.

I WANT EDMS’ LIGHTS ALL NIGHT 2025 ARTIST HIT-LIST!
The stars shine bright deep in the heart of Texas, and this year's Light All Night lineup proves just that. With over four stages, multiple rooms, and indoor/outdoor activities, experiencing Texas’s premier New Year's Festival can feel like quite an adventure. That's why I'm excited to share a definitive guide highlighting all the key artists you should catch by day!

Tuesday Dec. 30th
Day One is all about the Lonestar stage for me! I’m going to kick things off properly with some high-energy Drum & Bass out in the street with Skydisc. Homegrown and ready to throw down, Skydisc packs a powerful punch. If you need a testament to this, check out his current single, “ The Jungle feat. MC Dino," out on Bassrush! Delivering that early 2000s feel, this is a blast from the past of DNB’s heyday. He’s also known for his rock roots, flipping tracks like “ Ocean Ave “ into a nasty, gritty drum and bass centerfuge! Skydisc is a must-see to kick off your party right!
Next, we plan to slide over to the Disco Rodeo stage and check out Gudfella. Good Good Recs alum, Gudfella delivers some good, good house vibes that’ll leave you dancing long into the moonlight. Fresh off the release of his seven-track LP, " Galleria", dropping a few months back in the fall, the rolling synths and groove-heavy house tunes are precisely what you need to get your dancing shoes warmed up for this year's Light All Night.
After enjoying some great grooves and feel-good tunes by Gudfella, we plan to switch gears and head back out into the streets to see Nikita, The Wicked! He dropped his new "Blinded By Vanity EP" just a few weeks ago, and things get dark and cinematic really fast! I’m super excited to experience the thunderous drops of this new EP live! EDM’s impresario is a perfect match for the Lone Star Stage’s night sky vibes! Nikita, The Wicked creates a vibe all his own—hugely cinematic, with bombarding bass drops and an orchestral feel that only he can deliver. I just have to witness this concerto firsthand!
Now it's time to check out the Metroplex Stage or the Main Stage to see WOOLI. With a mammoth amount of bass, WOOLI is always a sure thing for all my head-banger fans out there. His Wackman track will most definitely swallow you whole, along with his two recent EFFIN collaborations. Stomping across main stages all year, like ILLfest, Seven Stars, and many more, WOOLI should be penciled into your hit list without a doubt!
Lastly, to round out the evening, I'm going to throw in a major curveball. We’re going to kick it back outside for some UKG with Canterburys’ MPH. I know, I know, it’s a major upset not going with ILLENIUM on the Main Stage, but we’re going to get weird with some UK vibes in the crisp night air. Fresh off a run supporting Tape B during his Fall tour, MPH is exactly what the doctor ordered. Recently dropping a massive 13-track LP, “Substance,” MPH brings that sick, grimy hip-hop feel to the table. Closing out the evening with an hour-plus set, one can only imagine how hard MPH is going to go on the Lonestar Stage!

Now, of course, my friend, his doesn't hit every time slot, and every artist; this is merely a guide for you to branch out and find someone new. Switch up your current catalog, check out some disco, shy away from house for a second, and get weird in the streets. Take off your dancing shoes and lose your mind on the rails with some headbanging. This two-day celebration is all about good vibes with good people and enjoying a wide array of music as we head into the new year! Stay tuned for the Day Two guide dropping early next week!

Ramiro Drisdale Shares New Three-Track Glade EP

Out Now via All Day I Dream
All Day I Dream is closing out the year with Glade, a wondrous three-track EP from Argentinian producer Ramiro Drisdale, out now.
Glade brings Ramiro’s atmospheric touch into sharper focus, presenting a fluid collection built around momentum and understated detail. Across the three tracks, he shapes a patient narrative that rises gradually, guided by crisp percussion and warm tonal shifts that open each track into expansive, late night territory. The result is a cohesive journey that reflects his instinct for movement, letting the melodies and rhythms unfold naturally.
“This EP is made up of three tracks, all designed to resonate on the dancefloor. ‘Glade’, ‘Jebel’, and ‘Norte’ each contain organic nuances, but together with their synthesizers they achieve a main-set feel that works very well at key moments in a set. The drums and percussion play a major role in making this happen, as they ensure the groove never fades or if it does, that its drop is striking.” – Ramiro Drisdale

UN CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY ANNOUNCES GROUNDBREAKING GLOBAL ELECTRONIC MUSIC ALBUM 'HARMONY' FEATURING ARTBAT, PAUL

Virtual album launch at 9 AM EST, December 17 via global United Nations platforms:
UN WebTV and YouTube
First-Ever Global Electronic Music Project
Celebrates 80th Anniversary of the United Nations
Orchestra Re-Interpretations of Works by Leading Electronic Artists to Culminate in Virtual Concert in Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations
The UN Chamber Music Society announces the release of HARMONY, its first global electronic music album, on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, in commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations. This unprecedented project reimagines cutting-edge electronic music through lush orchestral arrangements, bridging the worlds of electronic and classical music in a powerful statement of global unity.
HARMONY features newly arranged and performed orchestral interpretations of works by some of the world's most innovative electronic artists, including ARTBAT, Paul van Dyk, Francis Mercier, Kiesza, Sultan + Shepard, KSHMR & Marnik, Mr Tout Le Monde, Lachi and Julio Victoria.
"Electronic music is a universal language that has brought people together from all over the world, spreading peace, positivity and inclusivity," said Brenda Vongova, Founder and Artistic Director of the UN Chamber Music Society. "Through HARMONY, we are taking these powerful electronic works and reimagining them in an orchestral setting, creating a sonic bridge between genres, cultures, and communities."
The album will showcase electronic music works from all regional groups of the world, representing an artistic tapestry of musicians from diverse backgrounds. The project embodies the UN Chamber Music Society's mission to promote the United Nations' goals and values through the universal language of music.
SULTAN + SHEPARD: BRIDGING WORLDS THROUGH BEATS
The album features SULTAN + SHEPARD's transformative reimagining of their progressive house anthem "RnR"—a collaboration that transcends music to become a powerful statement of unity. The duo—Palestinian-Canadian Ossama Al Sarraf and Jewish-American Ned Shepard—prove that harmony is not just a musical concept, but a way of life. Their partnership embodies the very essence of the United Nations' founding principles, demonstrating that understanding between peoples, cultures, and sounds can build the peace our world desperately needs.
In this groundbreaking collaboration with the UN Chamber Music Society, founded by Brenda Vongova in 2016 at the United Nations Headquarters, SULTAN + SHEPARD's "RnR" is reimagined through a classical and global lens. The partnership becomes deeply symphonic—uniting electronic innovation with orchestral diplomacy, fusing electronic music energy with the same mission that brings together musicians from around the world to promote UN values of peace, respect for human rights, and international cooperation.
When a Palestinian-Canadian and a Jewish-American transform beats into bridges, and electronic music anthems into chamber music, they don't just make history—they make hope audible. This chamber music ensemble interpretation embodies what the UN Charter champions: that cultural exchange and artistic collaboration can forge pathways to understanding in even the most complex global relationships.
KIESZA'S "GO BACK" TO LEAD ALBUM RELEASE
Alongside SULTAN + SHEPARD’s “RnR”, on release day, the album will spotlight Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kiesza's electrifying track "Go Back" as the featured single. Known for her genre-defying artistry and powerful vocal performances, Kiesza has captivated audiences worldwide with her ability to seamlessly blend pop sensibilities with electronic innovation. Her internationally acclaimed hits and dynamic stage presence have established her as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary music. The orchestral reimagining of "Go Back" showcases Kiesza's distinctive sound through a stunning classical lens, creating an emotionally resonant centerpiece that embodies the HARMONY project's vision of uniting musical worlds. This track serves as the perfect introduction to an album that celebrates both artistic excellence and global unity.
ARTBAT: A VOICE OF RESILIENCE FROM EASTERN EUROPE
Ukrainian electronic music duo ARTBAT joins forces with the UN Chamber Music Society to transform their track "Horizon" into a powerful orchestral statement representing Eastern Europe. This collaboration takes on special meaning as the UN continues its critical humanitarian support to Ukraine, demonstrating how artistic partnership can amplify the organization's commitment to international solidarity and relief efforts.
A CELEBRATION OF GLOBAL UNITY
The HARMONY project will culminate in a high-profile virtual concert on December 17th, 2025, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, to be broadcast internationally through the global platforms of the United Nations: UN Web TV and UN YouTube, reaching audiences across the globe.
The event will feature an opening message from H.E. Mr. António Guterres, UN Secretary-General, with welcome addresses by Melissa Fleming, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, and Tom Fletcher, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator.
"By celebrating the works of composers from diverse backgrounds, we help to realign the world of electronic music – symbolizing our hopes of building bridges of understanding of human rights," Vongova added.
THE ALBUM: A GLOBAL ELECTRONIC MUSICAL JOURNEY
HARMONY takes listeners on a journey across continents, with each track representing a different region of the world:
- WESTERN EUROPE: Paul van Dyk – "For An Angel"
- EASTERN EUROPE: ARTBAT – "Horizon"
- ASIA: KSHMR & Marnik – "Bazaar"
- NORTH AMERICA:
- Kiesza – "Go Back"
- Sultan + Shepard – "RnR" - LATIN AMERICA
- Julio Victoria – "Todo se detiene (Everything comes to a halt)" featuring Lalo Cortés
- Francis Mercier – "Ayibobo (Freedom)" featuring Lenny Auguste - AFRICA: Lachi – "We Be Stars"
- WESTERN EUROPE: Mr Tout Le Monde – "Wonderful World"
Each track has been meticulously arranged for chamber ensemble by acclaimed arrangers including A Bu, Donovan Seidle, Pedro Sarmiento, and the artists themselves, and performed by the talented musicians of the UN Chamber Music Society: Josh Liu (Violin), Tristan Siegel (Violin), Marco Sabatini (Viola), Elena Ariza (Cello), Elisabeth Chang (Cello), Joseph Ehrenpreis (Guitar), and Brenda Vongova (Piano).
PRODUCTION EXCELLENCE
HARMONY was recorded at Klavierhaus by Mumeneer, the venue's resident engineers, and co-produced by Lawrence Lui and Brenda Vongova. Mix engineering and mastering were handled by Mickey Alexander, with additional mixing contributions by Julio Victoria for “Todo se detiene”. The album's striking cover artwork, "Folding Time," is by renowned artist Maria Kreyn.
BAMPIRE MUSIC DRIVES INNOVATIVE PROJECT FORWARD

WITH HIS 20TH BILLBOARD #1, DAVID GUETTA DROPS NICKY ROMERO’S REMIX OF “GONE GONE GONE” AND SECURES A GRAMMY NOMINATION FOR “GOLDEN (DAVID GUETTA REMIX)”

GRAMMY®-winning hitmaker and global dance music icon David Guetta unveils a brand-new remix of his latest single “Gone Gone Gone,” reimagined by world-renowned DJ and producer Nicky Romero. Fresh off achieving a Billboard Dance #1 with the original, the new Nicky Romero remix arrives today, elevating the song - featuring multi-platinum artist Teddy Swims and record-breaking pop powerhouse Tones And I into a soaring dance-floor anthem ready for clubs around the world.
The release follows the Hypaton Remix, crafted by the rising producer who has amassed more than half a billion streams. Fresh off his viral remix of RAYE’s “WIMH” (20K TikTok creations and 6M streams), Hypaton brought a soulful, melodic energy to “Gone Gone Gone,” further expanding the single’s global momentum.
“Gone Gone Gone” has already cemented itself as one of Guetta’s standout releases of the year with over 64 million global streams, charting in more than 20 markets worldwide, reaching #3 in EU, #15 in the UK - and its official video surpassing 9 million views. The track also topped at #1 position on the Billboard Dance Chart, becoming his 20th number #1 single - while it achieved #1 at Dance Radio, underscoring its worldwide impact.
Renowned DJ, producer, and label head Nicky Romero continues to operate at the forefront of modern electronic dance music, following huge releases with Steve Aoki, Marshmello and now David Guetta. From early anthems like “Toulouse” and “I Could Be the One” to his 2019 US Dance Radio #1 “Sometimes” with DallasK & Xylo, Romero’s catalog reflects a versatile and forward-thinking creative force. His label, Protocol Recordings, further showcases his boundary-pushing vision through standout collaborations with industry giants including Guetta and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
This year marks yet another defining chapter for David Guetta, who continued his legendary F** Me I'm Famous!* residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza and his ambitious new Galactic Circus show at UNVRS. In 2025, Guetta launched an exclusive two-year r esidency at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, performing at both LIV Nightclub and LIV Beach. He also earned a nomination at the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards for his remix “Golden (David Guetta REM/X)” from the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters, marking his 15th career GRAMMY nomination. He also followed up with another crowned placement as The World’s No. 1 DJ by DJ Mag for the fifth time.
Guetta will close out the year with a globe-spanning run of festival and stadium shows, including 19 December in Dubai, 20 December at Sunburn Festival India, and will be presenting his Monolith show for a huge New Year’s Eve performance at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Seven Lions To Release Anticipated New Album Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars on Ophelia Records
Seven Lions To Release Anticipated New Album Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars on Ophelia Records
Featuring singles with Kerli, HALIENE, and Lilly Ahlberg, the album marks a return to Seven Lions’ roots: handcrafted, immersive, fantasy-driven electronic music
Ophelia Records founder and electronic music visionary Seven Lions will release new album Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars on 12th December 2025. A sweeping and deeply personal body of work, the album marks a deliberate return to the inspirations that shaped Seven Lions’ earliest sound - fantasy, metal, handcrafted detail, and emotionally immersive storytelling.
“The name came from me going back to my roots - books, fantasy, metal,” Jeff Montalvo a.k.a Seven Lions says. “A lot of my favorite metal tracks have these mystical, visually evocative names. I wanted something that felt old-school Seven Lions, something that sparks imagery the moment you read it.” That sense of worldbuilding threads through the entire record, which he describes as “handcrafted and intentional - something that transports you. Immense, overwhelming, and capable of pulling you into another world.”
Ahead of the album release, Seven Lions put out three standout singles that showcased the range fans could expect from the full project. September’s “By the Light of the Moon” reunited him with Estonian singer Kerli for the first time since their beloved 2014 single “Worlds Apart”, delivering an ethereal, dreamlike, and emotionally charged landscape. October brought “So Far Away” (feat. Lilly Ahlberg), Seven Lions’ first drum & bass track - an aching, melodic exploration of distance and longing. Then came “Cold as Snow” (feat. HALIENE), the sixth collaboration between the two artists. Inspired by obscure metal influences, it blends live guitars, metal-driven drums, and an abstract instrumental foundation that evolved into what he considers one of his saddest pieces of work.
Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars expands further with a powerful, diverse tracklist that highlights Seven Lions’ melodic identity while venturing into new creative territory. The album opens with its namesake track, a breakbeat-driven, trance-like introduction that sets the tone for the journey ahead. “Breaking Me” delivers emotive vocals and a commanding big-room sound, while “Delusional” rises as an anthemic, euphoric peak driven by No/Me’s soaring performance. “A Crown of Seven Suns” provides a serene, calming instrumental interlude before plunging into heavy drum and bass banger “From Beyond”. “Past You” feat. Oaks is an emotional anthem about the struggle to move on, then Kerli returns for a second collaboration on “Thrice Woven”, a cinematic, tension-filled build that enriches the album’s narrative depth. Longtime collaborator Fiora closes the project with “Breathe It Out Slowly”, an intimate, atmospheric finale.
To Seven Lions, the album represents a reclamation of purpose and identity in a chaotic landscape. “This album is about feeling increasingly out of place in the current landscape… there’s just so much noise,” he explains. “I wanted to turn away from all that and reconnect with what originally made me fall in love with making music.” He adds, “To me, it’s a journey back to my roots - all the inspirations, all the handcrafted art, all the heart and soul from me, the vocalists, and every visual artist involved. In a world full of AI and shortcuts, this album was about sitting down and creating something meaningful.”
With Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars, Seven Lions enters a new chapter while honoring the essence of what has made him one of electronic music’s most beloved producers for over a decade. His career began with a 2012 Beatport remix contest win for Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go,” followed by releases on Anjunabeats, OWSLA, Casablanca, and ultimately the growth of his own Ophelia Records into a defining force in melodic bass. Known for hits like “Strangers,” “Rush Over Me,” and “Need Your Love,” as well as his 2022 album Beyond the Veil and collaborations with artists such as Illenium, Subtronics, Skylar Grey, Seven Lions has consistently pushed musical boundaries. A proven touring powerhouse, he has sold out Red Rocks (with another show on the books for May 2026), LA State Historic Park, and the Tacoma Dome, performed at major festivals including Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, and Electric Forest, and amassed over a billion streams while championing rising talent through Ophelia.
Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars offers listeners a meticulously crafted, emotionally resonant world that reclaims the spirit of why Seven Lions began making music in the first place.

Caprices Festival 2026 Unveils New Location, New Stages and First Names for Winter Edition
Caprices Festival 2026 Unveils New Location, New Stages and First Names for Winter Edition

New Chapter Begins in Gstaad on March 13-15 and March 20-22, 2026
After 23 editions in the Crans-Montana, Switzerland’s premiere mountaintop festival Caprices has announced that its flagship winter edition will now take place in Eggli, Gstaad. The move marks a considered new chapter, introducing new stages, and a refined production setup that utilises existing structures to enhance both sound, comfort, continuity, and experience. Perched high above the slopes, Eggli offers a spectacular 360° panoramic view of the Swiss Alps, where breathtaking nature meets cutting-edge electronic music.
The shift to Gstaad represents evolution - after more than two decades shaping the blueprint for mountain festivals worldwide, Caprices now enters a refreshed chapter that expands what the event can offer - deeper integration with the landscape, improved protection from the elements, and new creative opportunities for staging and design - whilst the region itself offers stunning natural beauty, 201km of slopes, husky sled, hiking, biking, and more. This transition captures a rare balance between legacy and renewal, and at its core the festival remains defined by the same values that have sustained it for over 20 years: meticulous curation, world-class sound and a community of music lovers spanning over 75 countries.
A refined access system sees gondolas now operate continuously from midday until 4AM, and a swift seven-minute journey to the summit. At the top, the Eggli site allows for the development of three distinct glasshouse stages, each with its own unique character. The Peak Stage is dedicated to large-scale shows with breathtaking alpine views; the CNTRL Stage will offer a more intimate setting designed for longer sets and exclusive back-to-backs, and the Ridge Stage will explore more experimental sounds and immersive concepts. Across all stages, the scenography, light design, mapping and installations will continue Caprices’ reputation for exceptional production standards.
“Caprices has always been about the connection between nature, art and music. By moving to Gstaad, we remain faithful to this vision while taking the overall experience to an even higher level,” says Maxime Léonard, Co-Founder and CEO of Caprices Festival.

The 2026 edition marks a continuation of Caprices’ tight-knit family story, with many long-time favourites returning in the festival’s new alpine home. Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano - who appears in a special b2b with Dennis Cruz - Sonja Moonear, Sven Väth, DJ Tennis, Jamie Jones, Bedouin, Dan Ghenacia, and Raresh (with RPR Soundsystem) are among the iconic names revealed. These returning artists reflect the deep relationships Caprices has cultivated with its community, and they remain central to the festival’s artistic identity.
Alongside these longstanding collaborators, Caprices is also welcoming a new generation of breakthrough headliners who have never performed at the festival before. Artists such as Vintage Culture, Josh Baker, Mau P, Adam Ten, Mita Gami, Alisha, Cincity, Sally C, and Stoffela represent a future-facing wave that has risen rapidly on the international scene. “We want Caprices to remain ahead of the curve - a place where the artists who built the festival’s history meet the talents who are shaping the future of electronic music,” says Kerol Kollom, Caprices’ Head of Talent.
The two weekends each come with distinct moods. The first weekend, from March 13-15, is tailor-made for demanding dance floors, with a sharp blend of techno, house and melodic sounds in line with Caprices’ forward-thinking musical direction. The first phase of artists includes Adam Ten, Cincity, DVS1, Ilario Alicante, Joseph Capriati, Luciano b2b Dennis Cruz, Mind Against, Rossi., Ryan Elliott b2b Quest, Sven Väth, and WhoMadeWho (Hybrid Set).
The second weekend, from March 20-22, takes a broader approach, spanning house, minimal, and afro-influenced grooves - a full musical journey from sunset to sunrise. Artists include Alisha, B.Love, Bedouin, Cassy b2b Prosumer, Craig Richards b2b Call Super, Dan Ghenacia, DJ Tennis, Francesco Del Garda, Jamie Jones, Mau P, Ricardo Villalobos b2b Sonja Moonear, RPR Soundsystem, Sally C, Shimza, Stoffela, Toman, Traumer, and Vintage Culture. Further announcements on additional artists and stage concepts will follow in the coming months.
To support the new format, Caprices is offering a range of accommodation options throughout the Gstaad region. Guests can choose from hotels across multiple categories, from five-star luxury properties to more accessible stays. A curated selection of apartments and chalets will also be available through Airbnb and other platforms, with direct links listed on the Caprices website. This flexible approach allows visitors to tailor their stay, whether they’re seeking a high-end alpine weekend or a relaxed group trip.
A dedicated shuttle bus system will operate across the wider region, allowing guests to stay in surrounding villages while still accessing the festival with ease. Shuttles will connect Saanen, Rougemont, Schönried, Saanenmöser, Turbach, Lauenen, and Zweisimmen to both the resort and the festival site, running day and night. Full timetables and stop details will be provided on the Caprices website.

N1NJA & Nana Atta's New Release ‘Umusa’
N1NJA & Nana Atta's New Release ‘Umusa’

Listen to Umusa HERE
London artist N1NJA, recently spotlighted by Beatport as an emerging artist on their radar, joins forces with acclaimed South African vocalist Nana Atta for their powerful new Afro Tech single “Umusa,” out on Get Physical.
“Umusa,” meaning grace, is the product of a rare moment of universal symbiosis. N1NJA had long admired Nana Atta’s voice, and when Grammy-winning artist Zakes Bantwini introduced them, the chemistry was immediate. They began collaborating remotely, but their bond deepened months later when they finally met in South Africa through N1NJA’s work with IMS and Beatport. “The moment Nana walked in, there was an instant sense of sisterhood,” N1NJA recalls. “She had just returned from a spiritual mission in her local village, and she radiated a very peaceful yet deeply protective energy.” During that visit, Nana Atta gravitated towards one particular sketch on N1NJA’s laptop, an untitled piece that would later become Umusa.
Press play and the track opens with emotionally charged synth lines, carrying a sense of urgency yet filled with hope. Delicate, shimmering snares dance over the bassline, grounding the emotion as Nana Atta’s unmistakable voice soars in equal parts lament, passion, and power. She sings in Zulu:
'Sathenjiswa umusa nothando, ngeke kuhlale kunjena Noma kwehlela nokwenyuka, ngeke kuhlale kunjena'
(We were promised grace and love - it won’t always be this way. Through the ups and downs, things will always get better.)
In a moment of extraordinary synchronicity, the very next day, the duo performed Umusa live at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg - the historic site where Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi were once imprisoned, during the IMS Connect event hosted by Beatport. Two women, performing a song about resilience and transformation, at a place forever marked by struggle and liberation.
Exactly one year after the stars first aligned, “Umusa” arrives as more than a release - it is a message and a testament to resilience, resistance, and renewal, landing fresh in the wake of both artists stepping into a new chapter with the launch of their own labels.
Let ‘Umusa’ remind you of what we rise from, and what we rise toward.
Kick & Bass Records Debuts, Transforming the Producer Community Into a Full Artist-Development Powerhouse
Kick & Bass Records Debuts, Transforming the Producer Community Into a Full Artist-Development Powerhouse

The influential learning platform expands into a label, giving rising producers a new, built-in pathway to release club-ready music.
Debut label single available now
ALP - ‘Raw’ Listen Here
Kick & Bass, the rapidly growing global producer community founded by DJ/producer Westend (Tyler Morris) and partner Freddy Trier Christensen, is officially expanding its ecosystem with the launch of Kick & Bass Records - a groundbreaking record label created directly from an established educational platform and artist development community. What started as a pandemic-era experiment in teaching has evolved into a hub with over 600 members for emerging Tech House and House producers, offering coaching, feedback, tutorials, livestreams, and now a full release pipeline to help members share their music with the world.
Morris first started giving one-on-one production lessons during lockdown, finding a true passion for helping other artists improve. That experience led to the creation of a Discord-based learning community that launched in 2021. In this space, producers could access tutorials, receive real-time feedback from professional coaches, and connect with peers worldwide. As the community grew and members started building careers, gaining millions of streams, and selling out club nights, one question kept coming up: “Where do I release my music?”
Kick & Bass Records was founded to answer that question. Unlike traditional labels - even those started by well-known DJs - Kick & Bass Records introduces an entirely new approach: a label driven by a vibrant learning community where artists can grow, improve, and eventually release their music within a single ecosystem. Morris describes it as a “360° cycle”: join the community, learn, get feedback, build your brand, level up, and finally release on the label when your music is truly ready. “No one’s really done this before,” Morris notes. “There are lots of labels, but there’s nothing that combines education, community, mentorship, and a release platform like this.”
From day one, the roster will have access to best-in-class industry partners, as the label is backed by renowned independent marketing agency CIRCA, which will be offering distribution and bespoke marketing and promotions services in collaboration with co-brand. The label plans to start with monthly singles as it scales up, highlighting the best of the Kick & Bass roster without overly restricting genre. While rooted in Tech House and modern, U.S.-focused club music, Morris stresses flexibility, noting that the label will feature everything from minimal-influenced grooves to catchy, more commercial-leaning house, as long as it reflects the sound the community has embraced.
The debut release comes from ALP, the Tech House alias of an artist previously active in techno, whose new single “Raw” arrives December 12. Upcoming releases include music from June Wilder and Gotch, both of whom are already well-received within the community. Morris recently played the Wilder track out live. “I threw the June Wilder record into my set, and it went off,” he says. “It’s going straight into rotation.”
One of the most distinctive features of Kick & Bass Records is the built-in support system that surrounds each release. Because an already tight-knit community backs the label, every track benefits from an internal momentum engine - members who rally around each other, push pre-saves, amplify on socials, and support releases across DSPs and Beatport. “Not everyone we sign will have a big profile or long touring history,” says Morris. “But the community lifts each other up. That’s what makes Kick & Bass special.”
For Morris, the label is the final piece of a multi-year plan: transforming Kick & Bass into a full artist development ecosystem. From tutorials and coaching to feedback, collaboration, and now distribution, Kick & Bass Records completes the journey from learning to releasing - all within a platform designed to support new artists' success.

EAZYBAKED WEAVE TOGETHER A YEAR OF GROWTH AND COMMUNITY ON NEW LP, THE ANTENNAE
EAZYBAKED WEAVE TOGETHER A YEAR OF GROWTH AND COMMUNITY ON NEW LP, THE ANTENNAE

A MOSAIC OF PERSONAL MOMENTS AND COLLABORATIONS SHAPING THEIR 2025 JOURNEY
Closing out a breakthrough year of career milestones and unapologetic creative freedom, EAZYBAKED returns with their next album, The Antennae - a collection of personal tracks and collaborations that perfectly capture the many dynamic layers of the duo’s project. The LP arrives Friday, December 12th, across all major streaming platforms.
Less a conceptual project and more a moment of reflection, The Antennae serves as a musical collage - stitching together moments, memories, and creative sparks gathered from a year in motion. The record features their recent standout single “CODED” (with Digital Ethos), a newly reimagined version of “WYAWYS” (with Daggz), and their latest release “BRAKES” (with Snuffy), alongside new downtempo-leaning, headphone-driven pieces that drift between nostalgia and renewal.
The LP also features collaborations with Ooga, RANZ, and TieDye Ky, creating a cohesive year-end collection that reflects the duo’s growing, tight-knit community and their artistic evolution over the course of 2025. Bringing the project full circle, EAZYBAKED ties the album together with their very own hand-drawn collage artwork - filled with sentimental pieces that speak to the project’s ethos - alongside film photography that reinforces its collaborative nature.
Arriving on the heels of a standout year that included headline sets at premier U.S. venues including Mission Ballroom, Ramova Theatre, and Realm - and coveted direct support slots for tastemakers Zeds Dead, Subtronics, and Of The Trees - The Antennae lands just before high profile year-end stops at The Shrine, The Armory, and a hometown festival return to Orlando for Eternal NYE.
A marker in EAZYBAKED’s timeline, The Antennae channels the energy of their ongoing story, the friendships that shaped their sound, and the freedom that continues to guide their evolution forward.
QUOTE FROM EAZYBAKED
“This album came to fruition just a few months ago, which feels wild because our first LP took two years to build. We didn’t set out to make another album - we were planning a collab project at first - but as the year unfolded, we kept writing ideas that all felt like they lived under the same roof.
2025 was the biggest year for EAZYBAKED yet. We played the biggest shows of our careers, released more music than we did last year, learned so much about ourselves, and refined our vision. It only felt right to cap the year with something more meaningful - a second LP that captures everything this year meant to us.
‘The Antennae’ is a recap of our year - a collection of music and moments, a bunch of fat beats, collaborations with our best friends, and a whole lot of love. We’re done overthinking. We just wanted to share this music because now feels like the right time.”

Upcoming EAZYBAKED Tour Dates:
12/12 - Dallas, TX - Silo
12/13 - Austin, TX - The Far Out Lounge
12/19 - Los Angeles, CA - Shrine Expo Hall
12/20 - Minneapolis, MN - The Armory
12/26 - Oshkosh, WI - Elevated Frequencies

More On EAZYBAKED:
EAZYBAKED is less a project and more a dialogue. A dialogue between two lifelong friends from Orlando, Florida.Between raw instinct and precision, between the underground and the unknown. Eric Ray and Andrew Principe have spent over a decade shaping a sound that feels unfiltered, spatial, and emotionally exposed. Inspired by the blueprint of artists like Flume, Mr. Carmack, and Tsuruda, their music is not designed to fit neatly into a genre. It is designed to feel. Low-end driven but patient. Experimental but rooted.
Their 2022 debut album INTERTWINED, featuring their standout collaboration with Of The Trees, “Sapped,” did not just introduce a sound — it opened a window into a process. From there, they continued expanding their world with releases on Deadbeats, HypnoVizion, Memory Palace, and Bassrush Records, alongside collaborations with Caspa, Montycler, Wreckno, and VCTRE. They carried that momentum into 2025 with their independently released EP RESPAWN, their most introspective and cohesive body of work to date.
The year continued with a run of collaborations, including WYAWYS with DAGGZ, CODED with Digital Ethos, BRAKES with Snuffy, and SNAKEPLANT with Ranz — all leading into their upcoming LP The Antennae. Together, these releases formed a connected year-end body of work that reflects both the artistic evolution and the community growing around the project.
Built with care and carried by impact, EAZYBAKED’s presence cuts through without forcing itself forward. Their music has earned support from artists like Zeds Dead, Subtronics, NGHTMRE, Tape B, Levity, and Of The Trees. Their work has been championed by outlets at the forefront of electronic music culture, with coverage from UKF, Beatport, EDM.com, and Your EDM recognizing their role in shaping a more thoughtful, forward-leaning corner of the bass landscape.
Their live experience is not a replication of the record — it is a re-imagination. Five sets at Electric Forest across a single weekend. Above & Beyond and Malou Release Complete ‘Letting Go' Remix Package
Above & Beyond and Malou Release Complete ‘Letting Go' Remix Package

After becoming a standout moment on their “Bigger Than All Of Us” album and a fan-favorite across their North American tour, Above & Beyond’s collaboration with rising star Malou - ‘Letting Go’ - receives an expansive remix package on Anjunabeats.
Then release sees the beloved track reimagined for dancefloors and deeper listening alike, with brand-new remixes from Rinzen and Drove, alongside the previously released Above & Beyond Club Mix and extended versions of each cut.
Originally released in July, ‘Letting Go' was the first collaboration between Above & Beyond and German-Hawaiian singer-songwriter Malou, whose introspective, soulful vocals have helped define a new generation of emotive electronic music. Her credits include the breakout hit ‘Breathing’ with Ben Böhmer and Nils Hoffmann (Anjunadeep, 2019), and here, she brings vulnerability and clarity to one of the most emotionally resonant moments on A&B’s ‘Bigger Than All Of Us.”
As the group’s North American amphitheater tour got underway in summer 2025, ‘Letting Go’ took on a second life. Above & Beyond debuted a powerful new Club Mix - darkening the synth palette, upping the tempo, and transforming the track into a euphoric peak-time anthem. Played across sold-out venues including Forest Hills Stadium and Shoreline Amphitheater, it quickly became a live favorite and was officially released on November 27.
This week’s release also introduces fresh interpretations from two of the most exciting names in modern dance music:
Rinzen, the cinematic techno innovator from Los Angeles and This Never Happened recording artist, offers a moody, spacious remix that builds a slow-burning energy while preserving the track's emotional core.
“It’s honestly a surreal feeling to remix Above & Beyond,” says Rinzen. “I’ve been listening to their music for 15 years. I absolutely love everything Malou does as well, so it’s a big honor to put my spin on ‘Letting Go.’
Drove, the forward-thinking Dutch duo known for their melodic, future-leaning productions, bring a crisp, rhythmic take that blends vocal intimacy with festival-ready energy.
“We’ve been huge fans of Above & Beyond for years now and they’ve definitely had their influence on our sound as well. After hearing Malou’s vocals on Letting Go we were hooked straight away! The song has that big, euphoric, being-pulled-to-the-edge-of-your-seat feeling that we are always chasing in our original songs, so we were dying to get our hands on the song parts”, says the duo.
“Above & Beyond and Malou were so gracious to let us have the stems to work on a version of our own, and we can’t thank them enough for this opportunity”, they continue. “We’re still pinching ourselves that this turned into an official remix! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it!”
Each remix is also available in extended format, making this package equally at home in club sets, radio playlists, and immersive listening sessions.

In a landmark collaboration that collides two seismic moments in British music and bridges generations in one explosive track, DJ and producer Fatboy Slim joins forces with UK music royalty The Rolling Stones on ‘Satisfaction Skank’, released through Southern Fried Records and ABKCO Records.
Long considered one of the most iconic “unreleased” tracks in dance music, this legendary mashup, built from two of the most recognisable songs ever recorded, finally receives an official release after more than decades of featuring in Fatboy Slim’s sets.
After more than 20 years of fans from both The Rolling Stones and Fatboy Slim asking for the track to be officially released, both artists agreed the stars had aligned and the moment had finally arrived. Norman was entrusted with the original stems of the generation-defining anthem, which were delivered in an armoured van, a testament to the importance, rarity, and cultural value of the source material. He then fully recreated and rerecorded the track, transforming it into a no-holds-barred dancefloor weapon while retaining the stadium-scale power of the original.
Speaking on the Release
Fatboy Slim says, ‘Over countless years, I have always dreamed of an official release for this mash-up. It has been a favourite in my DJ sets for over a quarter of a century, I can confirm it is thoroughly road tested and fit for purpose….’
In May 1965, Keith Richards wrote the iconic riff to ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’ in the middle of the night on a home tape recorder while The Rolling Stones were on tour in Clearwater, Florida. In Dec 1999, in another on-the-road eureka moment, at the Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC, Norman Cook playfully fused his then-fresh hit ’The Rockafeller Skank’, the trailblazing single from You’ve Come a Long Way Baby, with Keith's iconic guitar riff and Mick's rebellious vocal into something more than the sum of its parts. The mashup left audiences unsure whether Fatboy Slim was a band, a DJ, or something entirely new.
‘Satisfaction Skank’ is a once-in-a-lifetime, high-octane mashup that fuses rock and dance across generations; Despite coming from different eras, the two tracks share a deep musical DNA: a relentless, forward-driving energy built around signature repeating riffs that meld Keith Richards’ fuzz-guitar hook with Fatboy Slim’s chopped-and-scratched vocal motif. The raw analogue crunch of The Stones circa 1965 sits perfectly alongside the sample-driven, hyper-modern production of 1998. For this release, Norman subtly lifts ‘Satisfaction’ into a contemporary dance-floor tempo without losing its original swagger, creating a rich analogue-meets-digital texture that taps into the timelessness of both recordings.
Rebuilding 'Satisfaction' Visually
Tom Furse has created the accompanying video for the track, which combines photos from Michael Spencer Jones’ iconic photo Archive with cutting-edge AI technology.
The resulting video leans fully into the 1960s. As a member of The Horrors and someone with deep roots in music history, Tom wanted to rebuild the world of the Stones as they were in 1965, when “Satisfaction” first arrived, bringing the full original lineup back to life through modern visuals and AI-led craft.
Another visual has been made by London-based video director Elliot Gonzo, known for his distinct hyper-real style, who conceived the idea for his video by imagining Norman dropped into a surreal fantasy world where he could finally appear alongside The Stones. He pictured the perfect setting as the final night of the Big Beat Boutique and drew heavily from the aesthetic of the Build It Up, Tear It Down video, which became the creative launchpad for his vision.
The source imagery for both visuals comes from Michael Spencer Jones’ incredible archive of Rolling Stones photography. These images form the backbone of the visuals - fueling Tom Furse’s AI-powered recreation of 1965 and inspiring Elliot Gonzo’s surreal, club-tinged fantasy reinterpretation.
