Mind Against, HUMAN404, and Anakim Join Forces on “Late at Night”
a hypnotic new collaboration built around pulsating basslines, luminous melodies, and late-night tension designed for the dancefloor.
Italian-born, Lisbon-based brothers Alessandro and Federico Fognini, known as Mind Against, have become one of electronic music’s most recognizable acts through their emotionally charged blend of techno, house, and IDM. With releases on respected labels including Afterlife Records and Hotflush Recordings, the duo have carved out a signature sound defined by cinematic synth work, driving percussion, and emotional depth. Their multidisciplinary platform HABITAT, launched in 2023, has further expanded their creative reach through music, audiovisual storytelling, and immersive event concepts.
Joining them on the release is HUMAN404, an enigmatic producer known for atmospheric textures, futuristic sound design, and a style that moves fluidly between techno and progressive electronics. Also featured is Anakim, the US-based producer whose blend of techno, indie-inspired songwriting, and evocative vocals has earned support across the global underground circuit.
Together, the three artists deliver a track that captures the emotive, immersive energy shaping today’s techno landscape. “Late At Night” feels both cinematic and club-ready, balancing introspective atmosphere with peak-time momentum.
The release also marks another step in the renewed momentum of CORE Records, which recently entered a new chapter with Rush Avenue’s “I Won’t Let You Go,” released on February 27 as the first in a new wave of upcoming music.
Beyond the label itself, CORE continues to expand as a global brand and cultural platform. Originating from Tomorrowland’s iconic CORE stage, the concept now hosts its own events and festival stages around the world. Following the recent return of CORE Medellín, the brand is set to continue its international run with upcoming editions in Los Angeles and Melbourne.
Coinciding with the release of “Late At Night,” Mind Against’s DJ set from CORE Medellín will also be released online, giving fans a chance to revisit one of the event’s standout performances.
