Acclaimed UK duo Solardo and globally recognized street artist, DJ, and producer Alec Monopoly have joined forces for “Cold Fresh Air,” a groovy tech house anthem that arrives TODAY, October 31st, via Ultra Records.
Equal parts nostalgic and electrifying, “Cold Fresh Air” opens with soulful female vocals and an instrumental that instantly transports listeners back to the 80s. This track’s infectious bassline and rich percussive layers inject modern rhythm into its retro core, creating a soundscape that feels both timeless and undeniably fresh. Its disco-inspired spirit makes it a natural fit for Halloween costume parties, capturing the essence of that era through today’s house music lens.
Coinciding with the single’s release, Alec is set to launch his first-ever London DJ residency at 77 Marylebone, one of the capital’s most forward-thinking venues. Running across four weeks — October 30, November 6, 13, and 20 — the residency will merge sound and art, featuring a bespoke installation designed and curated by Alec himself. The activation brings his signature visual language into three dimensions, creating a one-of-a-kind nightlife experience that bridges contemporary art and dance music.
The 77 venue has quickly cemented itself at the forefront of London’s evolving underground scene, with recent performances from Patrice Bäumel, Deep Dish, Adana Twins, David Morales, and Fiona Kraft. Alec’s takeover marks a defining moment for the club, reinforcing its reputation as a cultural hub where visual and sonic innovation collide. Beyond London, Alec’s world tour continues across global hotspots, including Savaya (Bali), The Penthouse (Dubai), and stops in Greece, Thailand, and the Dominican Republic, extending through the remainder of 2025.

Following the success of his collaboration “Too Much Swag” with TECH IT DEEP earlier this month and “Tequila” in September, Alec continues his evolution as a multidisciplinary artist whose creativity thrives across both canvas and stage. His three-year residency at VOID Mykonos, along with major appearances at Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa, LIV Miami, XS Las Vegas, and E1 London, has solidified his standing in the international nightlife circuit.
