SIPPY UNVEILS LONG-AWAITED DEBUT ALBUM ‘SCARS IN STEREO’ ON DEADBEATS

A BOLD NEW CHAPTER OF VULNERABILITY AND POWER
Sippy

Sydney, Australia — Australian producer SIPPY announces her long-awaited debut 10-track album, Scars In Stereo, via Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label. Marking a striking evolution from the uplifting, “Gremlin” persona that has fueled her high-octane live sets, Scars In Stereo reveals SIPPY’s most vulnerable and unfiltered work to date.

Scars In Stereo is a reflection of my journey through the music industry: the highs, the hardships, and everything in between. It captures the wins, but also the depression, disassociation, and misconduct I’ve faced along the way. More than anything, this album is about resilience. It’s about standing up, pushing through, and owning my story. I wanted it to feel like a peek into my personal journal. These songs, in their original form, were written in real time (when the feelings were raw) then set aside until I was ready to be vulnerable enough to share. Now, I am.”  – SIPPY

Where Emotion Meets Empowerment

As one of Deadbeats’ original artists, SIPPY strips back her armor to reveal an intimate new dimension of her artistry. The album opens with the powerful spoken-word title track Scars In Stereo which sets the tone for a deeply personal journey that channels the pain, resilience, and triumph of navigating the music industry into raw, emotional storytelling.

The story continues with Wide Awake (feat. No Me) capturing the unease of emotional restlessness amid hardship and self-doubt. Can’t Over You explores the lingering ache of heartbreak, while Like I’m High reflects on the disorienting highs and lows of self-discovery.

FUKT UP delivers a rebellious outcry against the pressures and cycles of the industry, embodying the frustration and defiance of reclaiming one’s power. Can We Just Pretend softens the tone, offering a moment of introspection as SIPPY grapples with escapism and emotional fatigue. On Home she yearns for grounding and connection and returning to a place of familiarity.

Ashes” (feat. Marlhy) channels the raw, reflective energy of SIPPY’s new era, while “Killa” (feat. Bianca) stands as an unapologetic anthem driven by the kind of self-talk she had to master to get here. Released earlier this year, both singles set the stage for Scars In Stereo, which ties together its emotional arc with “Next Up” (feat. Artifice), a triumphant closer that transforms hardship into strength and forward momentum.

With its emotional depth and SIPPY’s evolved production, Scars In Stereo marks a defining moment in SIPPY’s career. As she continues to ride high on her Scars In Stereo national tour, the album sets a new standard for what fans can expect as she enters her most ambitious chapter yet.

About SIPPY:

SIPPY is a Sydney-born bass music powerhouse whose name has become synonymous with fearless sound design, unapologetic intensity, and stage-commanding energy. Now based in Los Angeles, the ICON Collective alum continues to carve her own lane with Scars in Stereo (Deadbeats, 2025) – her long-awaited debut album that captures both her raw power and emotional evolution as an artist.

A standout of the global bass scene, SIPPY made her name dominating the Australian festival circuit, with headline tours and performances at Touch Bass and Spilt Milk, before making waves in the U.S. bass scene. She’s since gone from support slots for Zeds Dead, Excision, and Dirt Monkey to sold-out headline shows, most recently completing her ‘Gremlin Mode’ Tour and taking stages at Red Rocks, Tomorrowland, Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, and ÎLESONIQ.

Now, SIPPY is entering the next phase of her artistic evolution with her debut album, Scars in Stereo, out October 17th via Deadbeats. The record showcases a more personal and vulnerable side of her artistry while elevating her technical production skills and emotional range. Lead singles “Ashes” (August 15) and “Killa” (September 12) have already begun to shift expectations, pairing haunting vocals, raw storytelling, and bold bass design in a way only SIPPY can.

A proven favorite on labels like Deadbeats, Bassrush, and UKF, and with official remixes for The Chainsmokers, Zeds Dead, and Marshmello under her belt, SIPPY continues to push boundaries. Scars in Stereo arrives October 17, 2025, alongside a national tour and high-profile festival appearances – marking a bold new chapter for one of bass music’s most compelling voices.
