With “Fantasy,” RSquared have crafted a record that defines their identity, a bold intersection of nostalgic melody and modern groove. Now signed to Defected Records, this heater blends crisp percussion, rolling baselines, and a soaring 80s-inspired vocal hook that instantly transports listeners to the heart of Ibiza nightlife.

Speaking on the track’s inspiration, RSquared said, “We are massively inspired by 80s music, it is at the core of everything we make. We found an amazing sample and went with it, and this was the end result. Ibiza Final Boss was the best exposure you could ever have hoped, the track blew up beyond anything we could have imagined because of that.”
The viral Ibiza Final Boss clip not only pushed “Fantasy” into the spotlight but also showcased RSquared’s ability to connect emotion and movement through sound. The record went on to reach #8 in Beatport’s Tech House Main Chart and earned them their first-ever Hype Overall #1, marking a milestone in their catalog of over 100 releases.
Meanwhile, their latest EP “Bring That Heat” continued the energy, blending hypnotic synth work with a vocal line built for peak-time club moments. The duo described it as a natural continuation of their prior work, aimed at uniting the same dancefloor energy that defines their sets worldwide.
As RSquared’s momentum grows, so does their global footprint. With major support from Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, and Paco Osuna, plus rotation on BBC Radio 1 and Capital Dance, “Fantasy” isn’t just a track ; it’s the anthem that launched RSquared into the international conversation.
