Nakita, The Wicked, stirs the cauldron once again with his nefarious new single “Look” featuring Emi Grace. Out now on Helix Records, “Look” marks the first release from his upcoming LP, Blinded By Vanity, due sometime this November. Redefining electronic music with his eerie cinematic atmospheres, this San Francisco-based DJ and producer has been conjuring a new villainous conductor for his upcoming project.

“I really enjoy the juxtaposition of the eerie choir sample from the 1900s and UKG drums on this track! Emi’s vocals provided a lot of space in the mix which makes this such a unique yet minimal bass record. This record will be the first glimpse of this villainous conductor character I have created.”

“LOOK” captures Nikita’s unique orchestral chaos, turning classical samples into an energetic, bass-heavy track that combines drama with raw power. Building on the excitement from incredible festival performances at Lost Lands, Project Glow, and Escapade in Canada, Nikita has earned a reputation as one of bass music’s most dynamic and exciting artists. He’s also had the privilege of opening for some of the biggest names in the scene, including Zeds Dead, REZZ, Illenium, Levity, ALLEYCVT, Ivy Lab, Jauz, SLANDER, NGHTMRE, and many more.
Lets take a Look!
“Ladies and gentlemen, there’s nothing I can say that will prepare you for what you’re about to experience. Please welcome…” Suddenly, the bass line rolls in, cutting off the chipper-sounding talk show host. The ominous orchestra sounds ignite in the background as Emi’s smoky voice cackles in the chaos while the top line begins to invade your central nervous system. “You got me thinking real bad, bad, bad,” Emi’s sultry voice rings out loudly over the track.
Evaporating into the mist in the villainous ombiounce, suddenly the big boisterous UK drum beat booms over the track, rattling you to your core. Violins ring out an eerie crescendo within the Jack the Ripper-style soundscape. Emi Grace’s smoky voice is an immaculate focal point, driving this nefarious production from start to finish. Winding down the track in style, a mariachi-esque guitar part delicately plays out as the big red curtains suddenly swish together and red roses illuminate the stage. Well done, Sir.
