Maddix Ignites the Fall Rave Season with “Move It 2 The Drum”

Dutch techno innovator Maddix returns with a powerful new single, “Move It 2 The Drum,” out now on his own EXTATIC Records. Fueled by the explosive energy of 2000s hardstyle and shaped by his forward-thinking techno aesthetic, the track marks another peak moment in a year defined by bold releases and non-stop global touring.
“Move It 2 The Drum is inspired by early hardstyle from the 00’s, blended with a modern techno and mainstage twist,” says Maddix. “Reverse basslines, punchy kicks, and old-school synth sounds bring it all together. Fun fact: the vocal sample from Hardwell & DJ Chuckie’s original was added after the track was already finished – it just fit perfectly!”
With his releases regularly supported by Amelie Lens, Reinier Zonneveld, and Hardwell, Maddix has become a defining name in the crossover of underground rave and high-impact festival sound. His recent releases “Mix The Master” and “Rave Till My Grave” set the tone for a relentless second half of 2025 that includes high-profile appearances at Tomorrowland Brasil, Creamfields Chile, Dreamfields Mexico, and Dreamstate SoCal – as well as a double-header at Amsterdam Dance Event: a headline appearance at his own Maddix All Day Rave and a special guest spot at the Revealed Label Night.
