“This EP started as a single song idea between us and quickly evolved into a constant stream of creation. Both fknsyd & X1-Y2 aimed for a raw industrial-infused sound paired with rich vocals. Their unique approach, fknsyd & X1-Y2 wanted to experiment a lot. The goal was to make it chaotic and smooth, aggressive while being gentle. fknsyd is a multi-talented songstress, producer and visual artist. Known for her supernatural lyricism and haunting vocal prowess, fknsyd has attracted the attention of Rezz, RL Grime, TDJ, SLANDER, Chet Porter, and more for collaborations. A burgeoning staple on HypnoVizion, fknsyd has appeared on Rezz’s IT’S NOT A PHASE EP and EDDIE’s Onzeker Kraft Vol. 1 EP, and released a trio of solo originals – ‘Anesthesia Smile’, ‘Marionette’, and ‘Apparitions’.

X1-Y2 is the anonymous newcomer who has sent shockwaves through the bass world. Rezz first introduced fans to X1-Y2 last year with their collaborative rework of ‘Edge’ before teaming up for their forward-thinking four-track NOVUS EP.
