Chicago Rings In TRANSITIONS

Today, Auris Presents, Chicago’s leading force in experiential festivals and events, has announced the inaugural lineup for the city’s newest year-end celebration, TRANSITIONS. Taking place over the seven day span of December 26-January 1 across seven venues, TRANSITIONS will feature over 70 of the world’s finest selectors, introducing a first-of-its-kind US festival experience that will transform Chicago’s close of year and NYE experience into a multi-venue destination.

Inspired by the Underground Resistance classic “Transition” – TRANSITIONS is a rallying cry to evolve, to question, and to step boldly into what’s next. Taking place across Auris and Auris-partnered venues, the experience unfolds as a journey through states of matter – solid, liquid, and vapor – each representing a different phase of transformation as one year melts into the next. This theme extends through every layer of production, from the visuals and staging to the atmosphere and energy of each night. The venues of Radius, Cermak Hall, Concord, SERUM (PRYSM), Outset, Smoke & Mirrors, and Spybar will serve as the portals through which this transformation takes shape.

A Journey Through Transformation

Radius, a key focal point of the Auris Presents nightlife map, will welcome headliners including modern house icons Chris Lorenzo, and Cloonee, the vast sonic palettes of Four Tet and Dylan Brady, star Brazilian export Beltran, and a groove-driven Defected takeover from Purple Disco MachineClaude Vonstroke, and Never Dull. Next door at Cermak, find Azzecca’s otherworldly Cosimea brand, tech house purveyors AYYBO and Rafael, the eclectic house sounds of Chloé CailletFloorplan, and Paurro, plus the pulsing techno of Kobosil and Cera Khin B2B ZORZA.

Global Sounds Around the City

Elsewhere, Concord welcomes the energy of Soulection trailblazer Andre Power, Terminal Underground label head Matroda, and an On The Hhunt takeover from AIROD and HHUNTER. At SERUM – Auris’ home for showcasing left of center sounds – programming includes an Incorrect party from Anthony Attalla and Carlo Lio, the forward thinking productions of Bart Skills and Pleasurekraft, UK favorite Hannah Laing, Berlin’s techno vanguard Ben Klock and Greece’s flag bearer ANNĒYotto presenting his intimate ANTI project, and a Farris Wheel NYE with label founder Gene Farris and French hip-hop inspired house veteran Shiba San.

At Smoke & Mirrors, highlights include TRUST with Black Light SmokePatrixiaEchodroides, and Greg Corner, plus a solo headline from Odymel, and a Perc Trax party with label founder Perc and Selective Response. Spybar will host CHKLTEPauzaGENESI, and Matt Sassari behind the decks, while Outset’s Boots NYE event will feature BootsMiss TotoKirk B2B Miss B Haven, and more to be announced.

The Marathon Continues

Auris’ iconic DAY ONE party also returns for 21 hours of house and techno on New Year’s Day at Prysm. The marathon features heavyweights like dance titan Adam Beyer, pioneering Chicago legend Derrick Carter, Life and Death founder and tastemaker DJ Tennis, Berlin’s cinematic techno stalwart Kevin de Vries, house favorites NoizuKyle Watson, and ChaseWest – plus some very special guests – all leading a 7am-4am marathon to ring in the new year in full force.

TRANSITIONS marks a notable cap to another massive year for Auris Presents. The brand celebrated the fifth anniversary of its beloved ARC Music Festival, in addition to standout moments throughout the year such as Navy Pier Open Air and The July 4th Weekender, totaling over 500 shows produced in 2025. Capping off a year defined by growth, community, and world-class programming, TRANSITIONS sets the tone for an even bigger chapter ahead.
