Out on Insomniac Records September 5th
Support on all platforms HERE
Odd Mob and OMNOM further the momentum of their HYPERBEAM joint venture with the release of their follow-up single “System,” slated for release on Insomniac Records.
For their next outing on the label, they are now pointing their beam over a lethal dose of tech brilliance. Sing-rap vocal hooks provide the perfect level of suspension for HYPERBEAM’s signature sound to shine. Crunchy, elastic basslines fuel the fire beneath menacing synth murmurs, haunting pad swells, and a dark, chugging groove that has punishing sound systems as a buzzing ID for months on end.
HYPERBEAM is the melding of the minds between ground-breaking house music mainstays Odd Mob and OMNOM. The powerhouse pairing stepped into the spotlight after a banner breakout debut, which includes a string of singles (“Mind Awake, Body Asleep” and “All Day, All Night”), that led up to the critically acclaimed ‘The Unexplained’ EP – drawing an outpour of support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM, Triple J, Kiss FM, SLAM!, as well as heavy festival spins from names like Dom Dolla, John Summit, Tiesto, Vintage Culture, and more.
“System” is out on Insomniac Records September 5th.
ABOUT HYPERBEAM
At the intersection of dirty club music and a desire to eschew expectation thrives HYPERBEAM, a supersensory project born from OMNOM and Odd Mob’s unique and kinetic synergy. In recent years, the cross-continental production pair has evinced its capacity to set dance/electronic circles abuzz with its heady brand of tech house.2023’s“Losing Control”was a case study in OMNOM and Odd Mob’s collaborative prowess and acute ear for what moves heat-seeking crowds. The single, released via Experts Only, swiftly summited the Beatport Top 100 chart as it debuted on Billboard’s HotDance/Electronic chart, racking up more than 10 million streams along the way. Yet with HYPERBEAM, the American and Australian sound purveyors decisively sidestep this winning formula, and by subverting convention, they introduce themselves to the club circuit anew. Meet HYPERBEAM. Rest assured: you’ve never seen, or heard, OMNOM and Odd Mob quite like this before.
ABOUT ODD MOB
For Australian producer and DJ, Odd Mob, there are no limits in sight as he continues to soar with each innovative production. Known for his genre-defying approach, Odd Mob has cemented his place at the forefront of global electronic music.
He broke through with the 2014 hit ‘Is It A Banger’, which charted in the Australian triple j ‘Hottest 100’ and has since amassed over 8 million streams. Since then, Odd Mob has released a string of hits like ‘Intrinsic’, ‘Lithium’ and ‘LEFT TO RIGHT’’, while collaborating with LA producer OMNOM on tracks such as ‘Losing Control’, ‘Mind Awake, Body Asleep’, and ‘All Day, All Night’, pushing him past 260+ million streams across platforms.
The past 12 months has seen Odd Mob release official remixes for John Summit, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, Sub Focus, Jax Jones & D.O.D. Adam Beyer & Green Velvet, Sofi Tukker, ODESZA, and Felix Jaehn. Meanwhile, his bootleg series under the Oddities brand has earned millions of plays, thanks to his constant innovation and boundary-pushing sound, which has caught the attention of industry titans like Diplo, Fisher, Calvin Harris, and Tiesto.
His 2022 single, ‘LEFT TO RIGHT’, based around Soulja Boy’s ‘Crank That’, received massive support from top-tier DJs such as Skrillex, Dom Dolla, Fred Again.., Disclosure, and Chris Lake, propelling him into the global spotlight. Odd Mob continued his winning streak in 2023 with a packed tour schedule, including sets at EDC, Coachella, and Shambhala. His collaboration with OMNOM, ‘Losing Control’, became an underground club hit, soaring to #1 on Beatport’s Top 100 chart, while garnering over 1.5 million streams within two weeks.
2024 was another landmark year for Odd Mob, with highlights including a massive sold out headline show at LA’s iconic Hollywood Palladium, two performances at Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Parookaville, and supporting Swedish House Mafia at Ushuaia in Ibiza as part of his first ever European Tour. Since this huge run of shows, one of his most recent releases is an official rework of the 2003 global hit ‘Get Busy’ with Sean Paul and has already surpassed 80 million streams, topping the ARIA and UK Upfront Club charts. The collaboration also reached #3 on the Beatport Top 100; spending 9 weeks in the top 10 with an on going #1 chart in the Bass House chart, where it currently remains.
2025 is shaping up to be another milestone year for Odd Mob, with a massive new collaboration with dance music icon Tiësto, a packed global tour schedule, and a string of appearances including Coachella, Shambhala, EDC, Beyond Wonderland, Space Miami, Elrow, and a highly anticipated return to Ibiza this August, not to mention a new Las Vegas residency at Wynn for the year ahead. Building on his nonstop momentum, Odd Mob was personally selected by John Summit as direct support for his recent sold-out Australian tour. Now, Odd Mob is set to take center stage with his own sold-out headline show series, coming to Australia this September, with stops in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and his hometown of Brisbane. Cementing his status as one of the most innovative forces in electronic music, Odd Mob continues on his rapid rise to the top.
ABOUT OMNOM
Individuality is OMNOM’s calling card. It’s precisely what prompts him to operate not just off house music’s beaten path, but so deeply within his own lane that he evades comparison and predictability. In his inability to be pinned down lies OMNOM’s power. And since 2018, he’s channeled it to steadily chart his course to a distinction coveted by many in dance/electronic circles but ultimately claimed by few: household name.
Following his breakout hit, “Fo Free” (Dirtybird Records, 2018), the enigmatic producer has increasingly carved his niche in the house scene with a clear sense of mystique. This involves not just toeing the line between the underground and the mainstream, but hopping, skipping, and jumping around it. It’s a matter not only of skill, but also of fluidity and agility. The result? Left-of-center, bass-fueled house maximalism.
With a penchant for blurring the lines between house music, offshoots like bass house, and other genres entirely while being unabashedly “loud and subby,” OMNOM is synonymous with a divergent style of house music that abides neither by trend nor expectation. As he’s stoked the already-hot house market, the tastemaker, born and raised in Los Angeles, has earned the support of industry fixtures, like Dom Dolla, John Summit, Chris Lorenzo, FISHER, Walker & Royce, and Malaa. These nods are flanked by a strong resume of releases on highly-regarded dance/electronic labels, including Experts Only, Insomniac Records, Thrive Music, Confession, and Dirtybird Records.
A tide of Beatport No.1s has ensued, including OMNOM’s standout collaboration with Odd Mob, “Losing Control” (Experts Only, 2023). In addition to commanding the club circuit, the single rocketed to the top of the Beatport Top 100 chart and concurrently debuted on Billboard’s Hot/Dance Electronic chart. “Losing Control” has since tallied more than 14 million streams, suggesting that OMNOM and Odd Mob — the minds behind HYPERBEAM, their freshly-formed joint project sure to shake up the dance/electronic space — aren’t just in control, but are bonafide house authorities. HYPERBEAM’s debut EP ‘The Unexplained’ landed in April 2024 via Insomniac Records, just ahead of OMNOM and Odd Mob’s live premiere as HYPERBEAM at EDC Las Vegas 2024.
A discography of club doozies and an infallible ability to stimulate crowds are just two of OMNOM’s aces. The house head has played them nationwide at some of the States’ most-frequented venues for dance music, notably selling out Exchange LA at the start of the year for a special, 360-degree experience. The headline event came on the heels of OMNOM’s December 2023 stop at LA’s BMO Stadium in support of John Summit. These appearances add impact to OMNOM’s already-indomitable roster of show and festival bookings, which notably includes EDC Las Vegas. With OMNOM, what comes next is anyone’s guess, but one thing is certain: he’ll continue to reliably move the needle in modern house music.
