On the release, Jauz shares: “‘Rockin’ to me is the result of what has honestly been years of work trying to figure out how to get back to what was the “core” of the Jauz brand. My goal from the very beginning of the project has always been to make all different types and styles of music and push boundaries, but I also had to come to terms with the fact that there is a certain ‘era’ of Jauz records that so many fans connected with, and I’ve spent so much time trying to search for what’s next for me that I never stopped to try and look inwards. Rockin, along with all the records I’ve put out this year (and more still to come), have been the product of me trying to really focus on what I’ve always done best, and let everything come naturally. It seems like people are picking up on it – the reaction to ‘Rockin’ at shows and online has been pretty wild already, so I’m stoked to see where it goes from here!”
