A Spontaneous Decision That Paid Off
I booked my pass to the World Pride Music Festival 2025 in Washington D.C. on a whim during a work break. The lineup—Trisha Paytas, Paris Hilton, and Galantis—was too tempting to pass up. What I didn’t expect was how unforgettable the experience would be.
Nonstop Excitement at the Festival Grounds
The festival took place at the iconic RFK Festival Grounds on June 6 and 7. Insomniac Events helped bring the production to life, and every corner of the venue buzzed with color and energy. From diverse food vendors to international merchandise stalls and spontaneous surprises—like a dance contest that scored my friends and I free VIP upgrades—there was always something to enjoy.
Two main stages anchored the event:

Dreamland, where pop icons like Trisha Paytas, Paris Hilton, and Troye Sivan thrilled the crowd with glam, glitter, and unapologetic energy.

Planet Pride, where EDM giants like Zedd and Galantis delivered jaw-dropping visuals and killer performances.
Many A-list celebrities like Cara Delevingne made an appearance at the festival and around the city, adding another layer of star power to an already stacked weekend.
Pride Beyond the Gates
The celebration didn’t stop at the festival entrance. A free street fair extended the World Pride vibe to the public, featuring performances by Khalid, Cynthia Erivo, and Doechii. Whether you had a ticket or not, there was room for everyone to celebrate.
As night fell, the afterparties kicked off—electric in every sense of the word. Galantis and Purple Disco Machine headlined two of many official World Pride events, in addition to other nightlife including a 24/7 Nightclub kept the energy high and the dance floors packed till the sun came up.
Looking Ahead to Amsterdam
The atmosphere was so full of love, talent, and community that I didn’t hesitate to grab my ticket for World Pride 2026 in Amsterdam. Since the festival rotates locations each year, next year’s event in the Netherlands is sure to be legendary.
