Celebrating over a decade as one of electronic music’s most trusted communities for artist development, Bay-area based music collective Neon Owl – founded by siblings Elaine & Raymond Huang – is proud to announce the launch of its new imprint: Neon Owl Records.
The label builds on ten years of impact through Neon Owl’s Open Door Sessions (ODS), events that have helped rising artists secure career-changing opportunities—from label deals to festival bookings—through a mix of workshops, panels, and real connections with industry leaders and headlining talent.
The label’s debut release arrives from Hidden Axis— a producer who first joined Open Door Sessions virtually during the pandemic. With Neon Owl’s support, she released her first track on Paradise Music (Wave Music) and quickly built momentum: joining Elephante on tour, releasing her first official remix for HALIENE on Ophelia Records, and a recent single with KEPIK on SLANDER’s imprint Heaven Sent. Julie’s journey exemplifies the label’s mission—to champion artists with the drive and talent to break through, even if they’re just getting started.

Neon Owl Records’ upcoming few releases will feature artists who have either grown alongside Neon Owl or been discovered through its Open Door Sessions events, with plans to expand and welcome new voices aligned with the label’s mission.
Neon Owl has built a global reputation for authentic artist development while giving back to causes like animal rescue, mental health, and global relief efforts. Neon Owl has previously partnered with organizations like Groove Cruise, Winter Music Conference, ADE, Anjunabeats, Create Music Group, The Whet Foundation, LabelWorx and more to merge music with meaningful impact.
As with all of Neon Owl’s initiatives, giving back remains core to the label’s DNA, with philanthropic causes continuing to be supported through future releases and events.
