A new EDM hot spot in Austin, Texas has brought the riddim rats to Rainey Street! On July 19th TOATS nightclub hosted a stacked line-up of heavy hitters. Including popular local Texas DJ’s like Grimz, Bluff Baby, and Blaize with a special guest appearance from RZRKT.
When you walk into the building you are instantly met with the hypnotic sounds of EDM and can feel the amazing energy throughout the room. With the Dj booth being at arms length from the crowd, TOATS gives an intimate and surreal connection to fellow ravers. The staff is very welcoming , and make you feel as if you’re right where you belong!
As the night progressed , and you didn’t think the wubz and dubz could hit any harder. It was time for RZRKT to step behind the booth. As the crowd welcomed him with cheers, he smiled in his full Buc-ee’s get-up. Knowing exactly what he was about to get us into .As soon as his hands came in contact with the boards he unleashed unforgiving sounds of heavy bass and deep wubz. In this moment we all collectively knew it was time for real riddim hours, causing the crowd to go what we like to call “completely feral.”RZRKT played some of his popular songs like Afterglow and Silhouettes. Even incorporating tracks like Dom Dollas “Dreamin’”, adding his signature touch of hard techno into the mix. The craft and execution for this set was very much appreciated by the crowds relentless dancing , cheers and head banging.
Austin Texas has brought a new level of EDM lovers out of the works, and it is very exciting to see what the future holds for this new exciting EDM nightclub!
