Same Same But Different Festival (SSBD)  is reviving one of their best-kept secrets: Nakey Island—a private, boat-only oasis where secret beaches, dance floors under open skies, and spontaneous adventures await.

In collaboration with SoCal creative collective Almost Nakey, this off-shore oasis returns to Lake Perris with a full weekend of boat-access-only fun. Attendees can secure a Nakey Island Passport for unlimited rides all weekend long—giving them access to dance parties, tucked-away beaches, cabanas, scenic hiking trails, and a signature “Top of the Island” photo moment.

“Nakey Island is the essence of SSBD—off-the-grid, unforgettable, and full of picturesque views you won’t find anywhere else. We wanted to create a place where people could dance in the sand, discover secret beaches and trails, and make new friends they’ll never forget. This year’s lineup and the energy building around the island are incredible.” — Brad Sweet, (Founder, SSBD)

This year’s island lineup features Ardalan’s iconic ‘Ardy Party’, a Hood Politics takeover with Sherm, and a wave of surprise guests from the festival lineup. Last year, Mindchatter popped up for a surprise set—so don’t be shocked if your favorite artist casually rolls through. Additional takeovers from Afternoon Umbrella Friends and Global Therapy Collective bring sets from Marissa Carlene, MaikiMaiki, Tim Sams, Amira, and more.

Back on the main grounds, SSBD boasts three days of genre-blending magic with performances from LSZEE, Zeds Dead, Dr. Fresch, ALLEYCVT, Boogie T.rio, Łaszewo, DJ Susan, Opiuo, and many others.

But for those craving an extra layer of adventure, Nakey Island is where friends become family, and the party never feels too far from the shoreline. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure experience for those looking to dive deeper into the spirit of SSBD.
