Set beneath the rustic ponderosa pines of Flagstaff, Arizona, at the acclaimed Pepsi Amphitheater, this midsummer soiree is the perfect shindig for those who love subs, wubs, and a whole lot of bass! The Earthy Event includes massive headliners, Of The Trees and Ganja White Night, for a double night of experimental bass mayhem. Here’s why you should be part of the Coconaut family!

This one-of-a-kind lineup is rooted in nature and exudes laid-back, chill vibes all weekend long! First on the list is Ravenscoon, known for his straight-up bangers and his space bass-free-form alter ego, Wavenscoon. This guy is a double dose of awesome. Evolving into an experimental mastermind, I love the direction Ravenscoon is heading. His wave sets are like no other, a pure groove fest that’ll melt your brain as much as it will melt your heart. Recently dropping his “That’s So Waven” Mix on YouTube, one can only guess what kind of vibe Ravenscoon will bring to Espace to Coconino

Jantsen

Switching gears and packing a powerful hip-hop punch that will have you throwing up your set before his performance ends, is Jantsen. Crammed with hood vibes, Jantsen delivers nothing but Hood Sh*t! With a dash of rock-infused bangers mixed in as well! Known for his Gutter Music Mix Tapes, Jantsen is completely off the hinges! Bass lines that will punch you in the face, slap your momma, and have you crankin’ up the subs and letting your bumper kit hang all in the matter of a few minutes. I particularly love his southern rap song selection, being from the south myself. There’s a reason why you see people wearing those white tees with the words “Jantsen F*cks” on them!

Ganja White Night

You definitely can’t forget The Ganja?! Belgian natives Ganja White Night continue this earthy, nature-inspired vibe with reggae-infused, colorful bass music. If you’ve never experienced a Ganja set, you’re in for a real treat, my friends. Their impressive basslines are matched by their sick visuals! Animated characters racing and riding across the screen are so incredibly cool. Releasing their massive album, “Sprouted,” this February, it’s no wonder these green leaves are appearing at this year’s Escape to Coconino.

Maddy O’Neal

Next up is Maddy O’Neal. I had the pleasure of experiencing her set during the Of The Trees Moonglade tour earlier this year, and she definitely did not disappoint! After releasing her Vital Signs album last year and a fantastic remix version earlier this year, Maddy’s vibes are mystical, authentic, and perfectly complement this event. With tribal influences and a reverence for nature, Maddy O’Neal embodies a mountain’s essence. She is a must-see at this year’s Escape to Coconino. If you follow her on social media, you’ll notice she’s always hiking, kayaking, or trekking through nature in some form or fashion, a perfect fit for the Coconino family.

Jade Cicada

Lastly on the list is Jade Cicada… prepare to leave Earth after witnessing his performance! This man will definitely blast you off into hyperspace with free-form, experimental bass. Releasing his latest Lunar Fades EP at the beginning of the year and a remix version just under a month ago, Jade Cicada gets weird and wonky in the best way possible. His vibes are spacey, futuristic, and almost like the inner workings of a robot, but turned into bass music. Even his latest EP covers look like the inside of a spaceship’s cockpit. So hold on tight and try to stay grounded, because Jade Cicada is preparing for lift-off at Escape to Coconino.

This year’s Escape to Coconino centers on earthy vibes, fostering a deep connection with the planet and fellow attendees. It promises a relaxed, incredible journey through sound with like-minded individuals. So if you’re unsure about attending, gather your blankets and comfortable shoes, and head to Flagstaff for an unforgettable two-day adventure through bass music.
