Following the success of his remix of CloZee and LSDREAM’s “Empyre, Pt. 2”—which has already racked up over 500,000 streams across platforms—HEYZ continues to push the boundaries of modern bass music with this high-impact original “Feed Ya Soul” Out now on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label
“So stoked to make my Deadbeats return with “Feed Ya Soul”! I’ve been in the kitchen a long time cooking this one up, adding a little spice here, some extra sauce there…now it’s finally time to set down the Michelin worthy dish that all bass music connoisseurs deserve. Think of this as my “Oysters and Pearls” from The French Laundry’s legendary Thomas Keller; my signature dish if you will. What’s the difference you ask? While Keller’s whimsically enduring approach to the familiar oyster interplays with the regality of tapioca pearls and caviar…my dish shoots it to you straight. A piping hot glizzy busting at the seams with flavor at your favorite fest on a summer’s day. The fuel you want, the fuel you need to keep raging. No frills, just thrills. Now’s your time to take a big bite, sink your teeth in, and feed ya soul.”

With each release and live show, HEYZ continues to cement his role as a dynamic force in the bass music landscape.
About HEYZ:
Native to Greensboro, NC, but currently settled in Denver, CO, Mike Hayes has gravitated towards an innate musical influence since an early age, leading to the emergence of the HEYZ project. Promptly garnering interest in his palatable dance floor techno from top labels such as deadmau5’s mau5trap following his introduction to the electronic scene in 2018, HEYZ eventually began leaning into a more bass-heavy approach.
Comfortably finding his footing in unfamiliar territory, HEYZ’ avant-garde take on bass music immediately cemented its rightful place, quickly attracting attention from all quarters of the community. Narrowly bordering the line between a contemporary and nostalgia-inducing sound, HEYZ has since released on a number of critically acclaimed labels, including Circus Records, Bite This, Lowly, and Deadbeats, only further confirming his natural ability to appeal to a wide scope of audiences.
Hand in hand with his skyward trajectory, HEYZ has also built an increasingly substantial fanbase through alternative channels such as TikTok, where he predominantly broadcasts his likable comedic personality. Firm in his whimsical ideology, he translates this seamlessly to the musical realm through his growing discography and live settings. With performances at large scale festivals across the nation among the likes of Lost Lands, Electric Zoo, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and many more, HEYZ remains steadfast in his endeavors, proving his longevity in the dance arena.
