Acclaimed electronic artist Fox Stevenson returns with Sunk Cost Fallacy, his long-awaited sophomore album arriving June 27 via Pilot (UKF’s sister label).
A true auteur project, the album was written, sung, produced, and mastered entirely by Stevenson himself, blending a potent mix of electronic, alternative pop, and punk energy into a cohesive, emotionally charged listening experience.
The 14-track album features a mix of high-octane anthems and introspective cuts, including the fan-favorite title track, a longtime staple in his live sets. Other new additions include “YAS,” an uplifting dance-rock hybrid encouraging listeners to be kinder to themselves; “Tryhard,” a bass house anthem built around resilience and self-motivation; and “One Horse Town,” which begins with ambient synth textures and acoustic guitar before erupting into a cathartic, headbanging drop.
Tracks like “Told You So” embrace a more stripped-back, alt-leaning feel with hip-hop-inspired drums, while “Movin’ On” builds from electric guitar melodies into a soaring chorus about personal growth and emotional release.

In the lead-up to the album announcement, Fox launched a password-based puzzle for fans on his website, which unlocked a Twitch livestream where he revealed the album title live. Within hours, 450 vinyl and merch bundles sold out in just 17 hours, making Sunk Cost Fallacy the #1 best-selling album across all genres on Bandcamp that weekend.
