Acclaimed electronic artist Fox Stevenson returns with Sunk Cost Fallacy, his long-awaited sophomore album arriving June 27 via Pilot (UKF’s sister label).

A true auteur project, the album was written, sung, produced, and mastered entirely by Stevenson himself, blending a potent mix of electronic, alternative pop, and punk energy into a cohesive, emotionally charged listening experience.
The 14-track album features a mix of high-octane anthems and introspective cuts, including the fan-favorite title track, a longtime staple in his live sets. Other new additions include “YAS,” an uplifting dance-rock hybrid encouraging listeners to be kinder to themselves; “Tryhard,” a bass house anthem built around resilience and self-motivation; and “One Horse Town,” which begins with ambient synth textures and acoustic guitar before erupting into a cathartic, headbanging drop.
Tracks like “Told You So” embrace a more stripped-back, alt-leaning feel with hip-hop-inspired drums, while “Movin’ On” builds from electric guitar melodies into a soaring chorus about personal growth and emotional release.
Momentum has consistently built this year for the release, as album singles have landed on Apple Music’s New In Alternative, Spotify’s All New Dance, and SoundCloud’s Best of Electronic: Tunnel. In the lead-up to the album announcement, Fox launched a password-based puzzle for fans on his website, which unlocked a Twitch livestream where he revealed the album title live. Within hours, 450 vinyl and merch bundles sold out in just 17 hours, making Sunk Cost Fallacy the #1 best-selling album across all genres on Bandcamp that weekend.
Sunk Cost Fallacy solidifies Fox’s status as one of the most inventive and emotionally resonant voices in the alternative-electronic space today.

About Fox Stevenson:
With a knack for writing the soundtrack to your next adventure, Stanley Stevenson – Byrne, better known as Fox Stevenson, sits somewhere between club – centric music producer and heartfelt singer – songwriter. Working outside the constraints of genre, he uses influences beyond dance music often tapping into his pop – punk upbringing. The results are songs that bridge different styles of music while always embodying the signature Fox sound – infectious, adventurous, and always full of charisma. And when this creative force comes together with Pat Lundy (Modestep) and Bruce Charles (Bustre/Konkai), the Fox Stevenson Live band is like nothing you have heard before.

Fox Stevenson LIVE is an energetic trio of drums, guitar, and vocals that have brought their infectious live renditions for several sold out tours across the United States and Europe with stops on the international festival circuit along the way. “I love melodies, I love big drums, I love big bass, and I love singing over it, and that is the live band.”

Of course, the accolades don’t stop there – over the last 15+ years, Fox has released on Spinnin’, Monstercat, Liquicity, Disciple, AntiFragile, UKF’s Pilot imprint, and many more, toured the world, earned huge industry support from tastemakers and peers, but most importantly, Fox has captured the hearts and imaginations of fans all across the globe.

With music ingrained deep in his soul, Fox’s sound is constantly evolving, each release better than the last, and with no signs of slowing down, there is plenty more in store from Fox Stevenson.
