Breakaway Carolina
Breakaway Music Festival, presented by CELSIUS, returns to Concord, NC, just outside of Charlotte, for Breakaway Carolina, featuring headliners John Summit, Kaytranada, Eli Brown, and Louis The Child. Twenty national touring acts and four local DJs will perform across two electrifying nights at zMax Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway on September 26-27, 2025.
Two-day GA, VIP, Ultimate VIP, and Space Deck Terrace tickets, as well as Space Deck tables, go on sale Friday, May 9, at breakawayfestival.com. Breakaway Carolina will feature performances by John Summit, Kaytranada, Eli Brown, Louis The Child, Ares Carter, Bob Moses (DJ Set), Disco Lines, D.O.D, Heyz, It’s Murph, Jake Shore, Lavern, Linska, Max Styler, Me N Ü, Peekaboo, Surf Mesa, Wuki, YDG, and Zen Selekta. Bobby Hendrickson of social media famous @DJLoversClub will host. A pillar of Breakaway’s culture champions supporting locals, and in doing so, they’ve invited Charlotte area locals 2LØT, Bayote, Johnny!, and Name Unknown to the lineup.
In addition to stellar lineups, Breakaway elevates the festival experience with The Launch Pad, presented by White Claw Surge, and a Silent Disco featuring local artists and onsite experiences. Earlier this year, Breakaway Music Festival revealed they are bringing its dynamic mix of music, culture, and community to six new markets, including Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Huntsville, and soon to be announced in Northern California, totaling 12 festivals. Since it was founded, Breakaway has become the fastest-growing independent music brand, selling hundreds of thousands of tickets annually.
Breakaway Carolina is one of 12 Breakaway festivals to accept cryptocurrency as payment in 2025. Breakaway kicked off the 2025 season in early April with its newest festival, Breakaway Dallas, on April 5-6. Next up was Breakaway’s second new market, Phoenix (April 18-19), before traveling for year two to Tampa (April 25-26), Atlanta (May 16-17), Columbus (May 30-31), Minneapolis/Saint Paul (June 6-7), Grand Rapids (August 15-16), Worcester for Breakaway Mass (September 5-6), Philadelphia (September 12-13), Charlotte (September 26-27), Huntsville (October 3-4), and ending with Breakaway NorCal (October 24-25).
