With mentorship from legends like Roger Sanchez, Kerri Chandler, and Todd Terry, Colombian artist Lupe Fuentes has released over 100 records on labels like MadTech, Lost Records, Simma Black, Roush Label, Safe Music, Inhouse, Undr the Radr, Nervous, and many more. Today, Fuentes adds yet another release to her extensive roster as well as marks her debut on Atlanta-based House label Psycho Disco! Records.
For her debut on Psycho Disco! Fuentes takes a dive into the world of tech-house on a double header release. First up, Fuentes kicks off with the “No Rules” original mix that also features Dances With White Girls. The producer employs a hypnotic melody and percussion that ultimately hits home the track’s trance inducing aura. Up next, Fuentes throws a dub spin on the “No Rules” original that ramps up the energy of the original production to an almost stifling level and establishes Fuentes as an artist able to command the dance floor no matter what the situation calls for.
Her original productions have been supported by legendary figures within the electronic music space including Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber, Richie Hawtin, Maya Jane Coles, Carl Craig, Riva Starr, Claptone, Claude Von Stroke, Shiba San, Tony Humphries, Maceo Plex, Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati to name a few. In the live setting, Fuentes has performed alongside artists including Paco Osuna, Joseph Capriati, Felix Da Housecat, Victor Calderone, Prok & Fitch, Detlef, Mat.Joe, Amine Edge and Dance, DJ Sneak, Junior Sanchez, Treasure Fingers, Jesse Rose, Oscar G, Roger Sanchez, Harry Romero and Jesse Perez.
