Hot of a string of surprise releases celebrating the project’s 10 year anniversary, The Bloody Beetroots have announced a 10-date North American tour—the first continental appearance from the project in several years. If recent sightings in Europe are any indication, the shows are likely to be every ounce the electro punk mayhem fans have come to expect from producer Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo.
To celebrate the tour announce, Rifo has also unleashed a jamming new single “Saint Bass City Rockers” exclusively on Dancing Astronaut. The track is an epic instrumental with a sinuous, synth heavy backbone.
The single, Rifo has now revealed, is the second single from a new LP, slated for release on Last Gang Records later this year. Though the producer is keeping tight lipped about the specific release dates, the album is reportedly finished and fans can look forward to more releases to come in the next few month.
The “My Name Is Thunder” tour will hit several dates in Europe before touching down in 10 major North American cities. The tickets will go on pre-sale on Friday, August 4, but Rifo has made pre-sale to these dates available exclusively to Dancing Astronaut’s audience for 24 hours starting at 10AM ET on Wednesday, August 2nd. Fans eager to get a grip on a ticket can use the password ‘Dancingastro‘ to get the jump.
