Falcons, the LA-based producer responsible for collaborations with Goldlink, Chaz French, Ekali, and more, has returned with his first solo track of 2017. After recently teasing it in his sets, he has finally released the song on Fool’s Gold Records, along with a psychedelic animated video.

Falcons delved into his childhood influences to craft this song, and says he was inspired by his exposure the sounds of old school rave music at an early age:

“‘Want Your Body’ is an homage to the 2 types of music that had the biggest impact on my career. My mom introduced me to 90’s dance music as a kid. At the time it felt normal cause that’s my mom, but looking back I’m super thankful to have been introduced to acts like The Prodigy and Halcyon at a young age. It seeped into all my music and ‘WYB’ is an ode to that.”

Featuring pianos that could easily fit in a garage track and drum breaks that could invigorate any raver, the song is set alongside a colorful video with a 3-D animated figure who finds himself in an assortment of psychedelic environments. The video is directed by Amber Park, who has been commissioned for official work by Major Lazer, Katy Perry, Migos, and more. With the hype for this song only raised with the release of a video, it won’t be surprising to hear this track played through the entirety of the summer.
