2017 has had Martin Garrix busier than ever, with the launch and management of his own record label STMPD RCRDS, as well as producing music under the alias Area 21. The Dutch wunderkind also maintains a never-ending touring itinerary that lands at some of the world’s largest dance festivals, in addition to releasing a steady stream of chart-topping hits, the most recent of which being “There for You” featuring Troye Sivan.

For his latest offering, Garrix drops off “We Did It” under the Area 21 moniker, an elusive ID that was previously crowd-tested at Ultra and Coachella earlier this year. Area 21 consists of Garrix alongside singer and producer Maejor. The duo’s latest release blends dance, pop, and hip-hop elements into a future-bass R&B hybrid product polished by Maejor’s vocals throughout. Switching gears on his new tune, Martin Garrix strikes a refreshing cross-genre appeal on “We Did It.”
