Armin van Buuren has been dabbling in commercial pop with recent releases such as “I Need You” and “Sunny Days.” Many die-hard Armin fans have questioned the his departure from of the trance and progressive house tracks which defined his earlier career, but the producer returns to his older fare with his new club edit of “Sunny Days.”
Van Buuren has thoroughly transformed the track from its original form, replacing its poppy house chords with an engaging, trance-driven beat. Cumbee’s vocals are less prominent in the club edit then the original version, but still complement the new rendition of the track well.
