There is likely no person in the world with a better ear for quality tech house than Carl Cox, so fans of the genre are wise to take heed of any release deemed worthy to be backed by his Intec Digital imprint. Intec’s most immediately-forthcoming release, Elio Riso and NiLO.R’s collaborative TRUE’S EP marks another notch on the label’s belt.

The Argentinian producers’ joint effort is a vibrant  release which explores several dynamic facets within the tech house genre. “Beat Inside,” the EP’s B-side, is twice represented on the record, in both vocal and instrumental iterations. Layered by tribal percussion and cerebral synthesis, the vocal version of “Beat Inside” implements the recognizable sample from Hardrive’s 1993 classic, “Deep Inside” – perhaps most famous recently for its role in Kanye West’s “Fade” – as a central motif. Elio Riso and NiLO.R’s EP will be released Friday, March 17.
