Ferreck Dawn has certainly left his mark on 2016. The Dutch DJ/producer created a clear vision for himself, presenting a deep, tech house sound, getting more exciting with every release. The result was an impressive tour past several major summer festivals, including a mesmerizing gig at Tomorrowland.

Meanwhile, the Dutchman came up with the amazing tech house tune ‘Lord’, a collab with Rene Amesz that scored loads of praise and DJ support. It was the true sound of Ferreck Dawn, focusing on deep, underground dance tracks, filled with tempting grooves and basslines. Recently, the guys followed up on this with ‘Rosie’, again supported everywhere.

On solo duty, Ferreck Dawn recently also presented ‘Mad Love’, mixing funky deep house grooves with infectious vocals and melodies. Again, DJ support was overwhelming, ranging from Oliver Heldens, Sam Feldt, The Magician and Lost Frequencies to Bakermat, Mike Mago and Benny Benassi.

And now he’s back, kicking off the new year with a track that’s got club music written all over it. ‘Higher’ is a sure shot for those sultry moments deep in the night, a fluid piece of deep house, perfected by some soulful vocals – a vintage house track for all those tastemaking DJs out there.
