Showtek “F_CK THE SYSTEM” Marks a New Chapter
Showtek are opening a new chapter in their career with the launch of “F_CK THE SYSTEM“, a record label created in partnership with Be Yourself Music. the imprint reflects more than two decades of the Dutch duo’s evolution across electronic music while providing a home for the full range of sounds that have defined their career.
The label’s first release pairs Showtek with Belgian-French dance artist Kate Ryan on a new interpretation of her hit, “Ella Elle L’a.” The collaboration serves as the official debut release for “F_CK THE SYSTEM” and introduces the direction the duo plan to take with their new imprint.

Rather than focusing on a single style, “F_CK THE SYSTEM” has been created to support every side of Showtek’s musical identity. According to the announcement, the label will provide a platform for underground club records, festival productions, crossover releases, and the harder sounds that first established the duo.
The project launches in partnership with Be Yourself Music, a Dutch independent label that has spent nearly two decades working across electronic music. Its roster has included artists such as Bakermat, Brennan Heart, Headhunterz, Mike Williams, Tinlicker, Imanbek, and Vicetone.
For Showtek, the label represents another milestone in a career that has consistently crossed genre boundaries. From helping shape hardstyle to collaborating with artists including David Guetta and Major Lazer, the brothers have continued evolving while exploring different corners of dance music.
Kate Ryan Joins the Label’s Debut With “Ella Elle L’a”
Leading the launch is “Ella Elle L’a,” a collaboration with Kate Ryan that gives new life to one of her best-known songs. According to Showtek, the project began after they tested an early version of the track during their performance at Fun Radio Ibiza Experience inside Paris’ Accor Arena, where the audience immediately sang along.
The release also continues Showtek’s connection with French music following their official remix of GIMS’ “Ciel” in 2025. Meanwhile, Kate Ryan enters the collaboration as she celebrates the 25th anniversary of her career in 2026 with a European tour spanning multiple countries.
With more than 3.5 million records sold and over 500 million streams, Ryan remains one of Europe’s most successful pop-dance artists. Her catalog includes “Désenchantée,” “Voyage Voyage,” “Libertine,” and “Ella Elle L’a.”
As F_CK THE SYSTEM officially launches on July 3, Showtek begin a new era with a label built around creative freedom rather than genre limitations. Together with Kate Ryan, the duo introduce the imprint through a release that connects a well-known dance classic with the next chapter of their career.
