Now entering its 12th year, the beloved gathering will once again transform Dairy Creek Golf Course into a vibrant weekend escape – featuring an expanded artist lineup, upgraded stage production, immersive art, wellness programming, and curated local food and beverage experiences. Tickets go on sale February 24th at 11 AM PT, offering fans access to one of California’s most unique boutique festival experiences set among the rolling hills of the Central Coast.
Leading the 2026 lineup is GRAMMY-nominated house music maestro Chris Lake, whose chart-topping productions and electrifying sets have made him one of the most influential figures in modern dance music. He is joined by indie rock favorites The Backseat Lovers, who have become modern staples of the alternative scene, and synth-pop innovators Magdalena Bay. The lineup also features viral club crossover star INJI, beloved dream-pop outfit TOPS, and the soulful folk-pop songwriter Natalie Bergman, and a very special guest act – delivering one of Shabang’s most dynamic and versatile headliner rosters to date.
The festival will continue its tradition of championing next-generation artists across genres into its 2026 roster. On the indie side, Shabang enlists indie newcomers Annie DiRusso and Frances Whitney, Norwegian-Swedish rock trio The Thing, psychedelic indie-pop rising star Chezile, American live-electronic act Fcukers, and the LA-based surf rock outfit Mexican Slum Rats. The bill also highlights a strong wave of buzzing dance music talent, including festival fixture Jackie Hollander, TikTok’s fan-favorite DJ Mandy, Irish producer Fallon, indie dance mainstay Broken Hill, Obsessions labelhead Dillon Nathaniel, Brazilian-born WELKER, and Filipino-American DJ Soraya – who will be making her Coachella debut the month before. Together, this new class of artists reflects Shabang’s ongoing role as a launchpad for emerging talent and a platform for the sounds shaping the future of live and electronic music.
For 2026, Shabang introduces several exciting upgrades and changes designed to elevate the overall fan experience. A brand-new stage will debut in place of the festival’s former Silent Disco, with its lineup to be revealed in a future announcement, while both the beloved Funk Safari Stage and Laguna Lake Stage will receive major production enhancements – expanding in both size and technical capabilities to deliver more immersive performances than ever before. The festival also shifts to a Saturday – Sunday format, running Saturday, May 2nd, from 2 PM – 11 PM and Sunday, May 3rd, from 2 PM – 11 PM. Additionally, Shabang will no longer offer on-site camping, allowing organizers to focus resources on expanded programming and production while also offering lower ticket pricing for attendees.
Rooted in humble beginnings as a small, DIY college gathering among friends, Shabang Music & Arts has grown into one of California’s most beloved independent festivals, heading into its 12th edition. Over the years, the event has built a reputation for thoughtfully blending discovery with globally recognized talent, previously hosting artists such as Jungle, Peach Pit, Briston Maroney, Wallows, Goth Babe, Thundercat, Odd Mob, Aluna, and more.
Beyond the music, Shabang remains dedicated to its signature blend of creativity and community. Festival-goers can expect interactive art installations, wellness offerings such as yoga and workshops, and a curated selection of local food vendors, wineries, and breweries celebrating the Central Coast’s rich culinary culture. With its largest lineup yet and major new upgrades, the 2026 edition promises another unforgettable weekend of music, art, and community under the open skies of San Luis Obispo.

OF THE TREES ANNOUNCES SELECT CURATED ‘PARK SERVICE’ HEADLINE EVENTS IN CHICAGO, NYC & D.C
Fresh off the release of his acclaimed studio album Moonglade Park and the announcement of the second ina ne stallment of his nature-forward two-day festival, Camp Alderwild,
Of The Trees has unveiled “Park Service” - a series of select curated events kicking off in Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York City.
Park Service is a curated series of headline performances designed to immerse audiences. Each show features brand-new production and visual storytelling, blending music, creative stage design, and unique environments into a cohesive, narrative-driven experience. Iconic outdoor venues in Chicago and New York provide natural and atmospheric backdrops, while the Washington, DC stop — hosted at the former TV production sound stages for BET — is transformed into a multi-room, high-fidelity experience that reimagines the traditional live electronic music format in a cinematic setting.
Tour Dates & Venues
- May 30 — Salt Shed Fairgrounds — Chicago, IL (Outdoor)
- June 5 — BERHTA — Washington, DC
- June 6 — SummerStage in Central Park — New York, NY (Outdoor)
Supporting acts Jade Cicada, Chmura, and Snuffy bring their distinct sounds to complement the evening, adding depth and texture to the Park Service experience. Fans can expect fresh setlists drawing from Moonglade Park alongside selections from Of The Trees’ signature bass-driven catalog, all staged with bespoke design elements that transport audiences directly into the meticulously crafted world.
The album’s narrative and immersive vision have earned critical acclaim. Billboard praised Moonglade Park as:
“A concept album designed around the idea of the fictional national park designed to host the album’s creative world, Moonglade Park includes collaborations with Earthgang, Player Dave, Elohim and other characters who make this fictional place somewhere we’d sincerely like to visit IRL.”
In tandem with the live expansion of the Moonglade Park universe, Of The Trees has also launched an interactive digital hub at www.moongladepark.com - a late-’90s–inspired “national park” website that serves as the central archive for the project. The site features evolving park maps, hidden lore, visual chapters, and upcoming tour locations, with each Park Service stop added as a new “site” within the fictional park. Together, the digital and live components blur the line between album, destination, and ongoing narrative. Now, Of The Trees is inviting fans to the park - an immersive, multi-sensory experience where music, atmosphere, and storytelling converge, and where his creative universe comes alive in each performance.
The Park Service performances are part of the broader Moonglade Park era, which includes the return of Camp Alderwild 2026 (August 28–29, Telluride, CO). Created and hosted by Of The Trees, Camp Alderwild debuted in 2025 as the first electronic music event in the region in over a decade, marking a significant cultural moment for the San Juan Mountains. As one of Colorado’s largest homegrown electronic artists — following a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut and subsequent double sell-out to close the season the following year — Of The Trees’ ethos and longstanding connection to nature made him a natural choice to reintroduce the genre to Telluride.
Co-promoted by Planet Bluegrass and AEG Presents, Camp Alderwild represents a multi-year investment in both the artist and the region. The inaugural event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the city, local workers, and attendees, who experienced firsthand the intentional nature of the programming and the community’s emphasis on sustainability, respect for the environment, and thoughtful curation. For year two, Daily Bread joins as a headlining artist, expanding the musical scope while reinforcing a modern sound and community that naturally complements the landscape and spirit of Telluride.

Sacha Robotti & Perry Farrell Unite For ‘Words’ Sixth Single Off Upcoming Debut Album I, Robotti Out Now via Dirtybird
Sacha Robotti reveals another chapter of his forthcoming debut album I, Robotti with his latest single ‘Words’, a standout collaboration with alternative rock visionary Perry Farrell, out now via Dirtybird.
Built around Farrell’s evocative refrain, “Sometimes… words get in the way,” the single explores the emotional weight of what remains unspoken. Written by Farrell, ‘Words’ reframes restraint within dance music, where meaning is often carried as much by rhythm and movement as by lyrics. Pairing the raw power and ethereal softness of Farrell’s voice with Robotti’s deep, bass-driven production, ‘Words’ glides between melodic techno and tech house while drawing from his European foundation. The result is a club-ready record that lives both on the dancefloor and beyond it, capturing the nuanced intensity that bubbles throughout I, Robotti.
“Immediately I could hear myself singing ‘Words’ for the rest of my life.” – Perry Farrell
‘Words’ stands as a defining moment within the album’s broader narrative, underscoring the project’s focus on connection and dancefloor escapism by emphasizing how music can communicate what language cannot. The latest preview of I, Robotti follows earlier singles ‘Whistle Man’ with Felix and Eric D. Clark, ‘Manifest’ with SYREETA, ‘All Night’ with Sian and JOPLYN, ‘The Flood’ with Blakkat, and ‘Say It’ with Victoria Rawlins.
From Berlin to San Francisco and beyond, Sacha Robotti has carved his place in the vanguard of underground dance music. His creativity is boundless, extending from his solo project and Slothacid imprint to his work as ½ of Third Culture. I, Robotti is the culmination of his longstanding creative partnership with Dirtybird, following 2014’s Loca Lola, 2017’s Melato Nina, 2024’s ‘Roll With Me’ and collaborations with Kevin Knapp and Kill Frenzy. He returned to the label in 2024 to headline the inaugural edition of Back To Baysics at San Francisco’s Embarcadero Plaza.
With a career spanning over three decades, Perry Farrell remains one of modern music’s most boundary-pushing figures. As the former frontman of Jane’s Addiction and the founder of Lollapalooza, he has consistently bridged rock and electronic culture through fearless experimentation. On ‘Words,’ his philosophy resonates clearly: what remains unsaid can often be more powerful than the words themselves.
Stream Sacha Robotti and Perry Farrell’s new single ‘Words’ available now on all platforms and sign up here for the latest updates on Dirtybird releases, events, merch, and more.

Groove Cruise Miami 2026 The transformational journey at sea continues to evolve & cement its status as the world’s largest, and most adored, floating music festival
Whet Travel’s flagship event, Groove Cruise, set sail from Miami on Thursday, January 22, and embarked on a 96-hour, 13- stage marathon of non-stop music and once-in-a-lifetime memories. Leagues beyond just your standard music cruise, Groove Cruise is a transformational journey at sea. Fostering an environment and community where attendees (lovingly referred to as captains) can freely express themselves, try something new, dance like nobody’s watching, and challenge themselves mentally and spiritually, Groove Cruise is uniquely special.
Following a record-breaking 2026 sailing, all 2,867 staterooms on Groove Cruise 2027 are already sold out. For those who missed out on this year’s, here’s what went down on Groove Cruise 2026…
Thursday, January 22
(Day Theme: Represent / Night Theme: Crowns & Corsets)
After an exceptionally speedy boarding process at PortMiami, the Captains of Groove Cruise were able to take in the breadth of Royal Caribbean’s massive Wonder of the Seas and explore their playground for the next four days. Notably, 13 onboard stages were built on the first day of the cruise - a true testament to Groove Cruise’s professional and dedicated team. To kick things off, Gorgon City performed a magical set at the Sail Away Party in the Aquatheater. The ship left rainy Miami behind, and the event was fully underway. Mere hours later, Groove Cruise hosted its first-ever Baby Gender Reveal celebration, proving that anything is possible onboard. Later into the evening, Chris Lorenzo made his GC debut in Studio B, DJ Susan graced the captains with a rare dubstep set, and Airrica took everyone into the first sunrise set of the year.
Friday, January 23
(Day Theme: Food Fetish / Night Theme: Down the Rabbit Hole)
Marking the first full day on the ship, Friday held a tangible, high-spirited energy. Captains scurrying off to do activities, the clouds breaking and sun shining on the pool decks, the music still echoing from Gene Farris’ Sunrise Marathon set at the Solarium. Options for the day included artist-hosted experiences such as Soccer with Joshwa, Wine Tasting with Amy Wiles and Jackie Hollander, Sushi Making with Blanke, and much more. For those seeking mental nourishment, When The Music Stops hosted Music, Mental Health & Meaning Artist Panel featuring artists Alley Kay, Jackie Hollander, Lilly Palmer, N2N, and Vavo, while Neon Owl’s Panel Behind The Artist Industry Panel shed light on the behind-the-scenes of the music industry. The unparalleled music continued with a special Jason Ross b2b Trivecta set at the Aquatheater, Ryan Key of Yellowcard performing your favorite emo hits from his band and others, who fans can look forward to seeing on Whet Travel’s newly announced emo cruise Shattered Shores, while The Sponges brought the funk in The Attic until 4:30 AM, and artists like Deepfake, Christoph, and Deeper Purpose brought us into the sunrise hours.
Saturday, January 24
(Day Theme: Turquoise Temptation / Night Theme: Midnight Seduction)
Destination day in Nassau came bright and early, giving captains the chance to do excursions like swimming with dolphins or pigs by breakfast time. The picturesque Nassau offered many options for GC captains to choose their own adventure on destination day. From beaches to shopping to checking out the nearby resorts, destination day was jam-packed with fun options for all types of vibes. But the main attraction was the Nassau amphitheater, which hosted the GCMIA2026 headliner John Summit’s set. With full-production moments, including tons of fireworks, the monumental energy was palpable throughout his two-hour set. Plus, the captains were graced by the debut of John Summit's ID “Lights Go Out” - a single to be released just weeks after Groove Cruise. Back on the ship, DaRude took us into a Sandstorm, first ever Markus Schulz with special guest Dave Dresden b2b after decades of friendship and working together and Studio B saw an epic four-way b2b with Cloonee, Ranger Trucco, Max Styler, and Gorgon City until 4 AM.
Sunday, January 25
(Day Theme: Animal Instincts / Night Theme: Shimmerverse)
The last full day on Groove Cruise - somehow the time has flown by. Sleep has been a bit elusive, but vibes and energy are higher than ever. Deep House Brunch took over the promenade from 11 am-6 pm, Neon Owl did a Demo Listening Party, and Jason Beukema gave his The Groove Effect Talk, where he explained the waves of Groove Cruise’s ripple on the lives of captains, far beyond their onboard experience. Blossom hosted a HIIT workout class, Ryan Key of Yellowcard did a rare acoustic set, and DJ Lovers Club hosted their takeover in the casino, where Joshwa, Ryuma, Wakyin, and more made special appearances. The line between Sunday night and Monday morning started to blur, as the final night was wrapped up with Cloonee and Layton Giordani at the Aquatheater. Cloonee’s set held a special “Stephanie” meet-up where anyone onboard with that name was invited on stage with him (10 of the 28 Stephanies made it!), and Layton’s melodic house sounds closed out the year’s epic event.
Groove Cruise 2026 expanded its impact beyond the ship through the nonprofit Whet Foundation’s Destination Donation Initiative in Nassau, The Bahamas, transforming celebration into meaningful community action. In partnership with Ranfurly Homes for Children and the Boys & Girls Club of The Bahamas, Captains participated in a powerful day of service dedicated to uplifting local youth and strengthening essential support systems. This year’s donations included clothing, toiletries, school supplies, household essentials, bedding, and food. Donations included critical resources that directly supported children and families in need. Beyond the supplies delivered, the greatest impact came from authentic connection, as Captains spent time engaging with the children through games, conversations, laughter, and encouragement, embodying the unity and compassion that define the Groove Cruise community. The initiative perfectly reflected Wave 6: Embrace & Elevate within the Groove Effect, a wave centered on connection and belonging through lifting, supporting, and celebrating others. The 2026 Whet Foundation Destination Donation Initiative reinforced safe spaces and educational support in Nassau while powerfully demonstrating that Groove Cruise is more than a festival at sea, it is a global platform for purpose, community, and giving back.
CEO and founder, Whet Travel/Groove Cruise Jason Beukema adds; “When I launched Groove Cruise more than two decades ago, I could never have imagined how deeply this experience would shape people’s lives. Every year, the bar somehow raises itself, but this past sailing felt truly special. From the music and next-level production to the spontaneous, once-in-a-lifetime moments that unfolded at sea, it was a reminder of why this community exists in the first place. What moves me most isn’t just what happens on the ship, but what captains take home with them: renewed perspective, deeper connections, and a ripple of positivity that extends far beyond the dancefloor. I’m endlessly grateful to our passionate team, the visionary artists, and our incredible partners who pour everything into bringing this world to life. As we look ahead, we’re inspired to push even further - creating experiences that don’t just exceed expectations, but continue to unlock the true power of the Groove Effect. I look forward to sharing more on that ethos with our Captains soon.
Groove Cruise 2026 proved to be a can't-miss event for thousands, and the 2027 installment is already sold out. Sailing from January 21-25, 2027, Groove Cruise will take place aboard Royal Caribbean’s newly refurbished Allure of the Seas.

GRYFFIN soared throughout 2025 with a run of collaborative releases that underscored his versatility and growing influence across the electronic spectrum. High-profile collaborations with Kaskade, Excision, GRiZ, and LAVERN showcased his ability to seamlessly bridge melodic songwriting, festival-ready production, and forward-thinking experimentation, marking the year as one of the most creatively expansive chapters of his career.
Alongside new music, GRYFFIN continued to build his live legacy on the road. His PULSE: PHASE 2 Tour saw him headline major venues including Boston’s Roadrunner, Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy, Austin’s Moody Amphitheater, and Nashville’s newest venue, The Pinnacle, following the previous year’s sold-out PULSE run with stops at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In parallel, he also dominated the festival circuit with performances at Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Escape Halloween, and EDC Orlando.
The momentum built throughout 2025 shows no signs of slowing as GRYFFIN looks ahead to 2026. A hometown homecoming of epic proportions, the Cow Palace show represents both a culmination of GRYFFIN’s decade-long ascent and a clear statement of what comes next. With new music on the way ahead of the performance, the night signals the next phase of his career, one defined by ambitious creativity, boundary-pushing experimentation, and broader artistic scope.
In recent years, Cow Palace has emerged as one of the Bay Area’s most prominent large-scale dance music venues, having hosted landmark performances from artists including John Summit, GRiZ, and REZZ. Now, GRYFFIN steps into that lineage with a career-defining hometown moment that reflects his evolution as an artist and the weight of the moment itself.
Fans can expect GRYFFIN’s signature hybrid live set at Cow Palace, blending DJ performance with live guitar, alongside a fully immersive production featuring pyrotechnics, expansive laser design, special guests, and surprise vocalists. Bred for the Bay Area, the show promises a one-night-only experience that captures GRYFFIN’s growth as both a performer and a creative visionary.

FVTVR unveils extended birthday programme celebrating two years at the heart of underground culture
FVTVR marks its second birthday with an extended celebration from Friday, 6th February to Sunday, 8th February 2026. The Parisian venue invites guests to an immersive journey of music, community, and expression, featuring more than 20 DJs, including residents, new artists, and close friends of the club, continuing to place the venue at the forefront of the European underground scene and reaffirming its status as a space of creation and expression for contemporary cultures.
From Friday night through Sunday night, the event flows seamlessly between daytime and nighttime sets, spanning Techno to House, fast BPMs to sensual melodies. The extended birthday offers a total experience of movement, connection, and intensity, where every moment is part of a single, continuous celebration.
The programme features a host of talent including Amoral, Arkan b2b Kian Gast, BASHKKA, Blasha & Allatt (house set), Chami b2b Amotik, Claudio PRC, Cormac, Eman b2b Mathys Lenne, Full Sentimental b2b Theo Scuera, Isabel Soto, Jen Cardini b2b Sally C, Louis The 4th b2b Marie Julie, Marcal, Rene Wise (house set), Shanti Celeste, and The Lady Machine b2b Olivia Mendez.
Founded in 2024, FVTVR was never just a club. It is a sensory laboratory, a space where sound unfolds in its deepest and most complex forms. Designed by the visionary studio Hypnos, its architecture fuses raw minimalism with futuristic detail: sculpted concrete, geometric lines, and shifting chiaroscuro. The room becomes an extension of the music itself, a living environment that transforms with every night.
At its core lies total immersion. The L-Acoustics system, four 12XT tops and five KS21 subs, envelops bodies in a precise, physical field of sound where every frequency becomes tangible. Lighting, conceived as a dramaturgy in motion, alternates between abyssal darkness and stroboscopic bursts, transforming the space into a theatre of shadows and flashes. Evolving visual installations and architectural projections further intensify the descent into the unknown.
FVTVR is a community of intensity and radicalism. Dancers, artists, and dedicated listeners gather in a space where authenticity is the only currency. Its programme weaves together international icons, boundary-pushing live acts, and the next generation of visionaries into a dialogue that transcends trends and borders.
The extended second birthday is a celebration of the energy, passion, and creativity that define FVTVR. Over three days of uninterrupted music, the venue becomes a living, breathing space where sound, movement, and light converge. Guests are invited to lose themselves in the rhythm, to connect with fellow dancers, and to experience the intensity and intimacy that have become the hallmark of FVTVR. It is a moment to honour the artists, residents, and friends who have shaped the club’s identity, while creating new memories and shared experiences that will continue to resonate long after the final beat. Every set, every projection, every flicker of light contributes to a singular, immersive celebration of community and innovation.
OF THE TREES ANNOUNCES RETURN OF CAMP ALDERWILD FOR YEAR TWO, AUGUST 28–29, 2026 IN TELLURIDE, CO
Following a highly celebrated debut year, Of The Trees announces the return of his immersive, nature-forward concert experience Camp Alderwild, set to take place August 28–29, 2026 at Telluride Town Park. Nestled in the heart of Colorado’s San Juan Mountains, the two-day curated gathering returns for its second year with a renewed focus on community, intention, and the powerful intersection of music and environment.
After reintroducing electronic music to Telluride in 2025 for the first time in nearly a decade, Camp Alderwild now enters its next chapter, building on the foundation of its inaugural year while continuing to honor the landscape, culture, and communal spirit that define the region.
Hosted by Of The Trees, one of Colorado’s premier electronic artists, Camp Alderwild is defined by immersive soundscapes that seamlessly intertwine with the natural world. Following a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut in 2023 and two-night run in 2024, and the debut of Camp Alderwild in 2025, his visionary approach has established a blueprint for an experience that feels both intentional and expansive. Known for performances that seamlessly fuse music and nature, Of The Trees has cultivated a global following drawn to his world-building approach to live music. Camp Alderwild stands as a natural extension of that vision - bringing his immersive sensibility into a setting where the surrounding landscape is as impactful as the music itself.
Of The Trees will headline the event with both a daytime and closing set, once again serving as the creative anchor of the experience. Joining him as the first confirmed artist for Camp Alderwild 2026 is Daily Bread, the Atlanta-based producer celebrated for his soulful, hip-hop-rooted approach to electronic music. Daily Bread’s sound blends vintage textures with modern bass, drawing from a background in jazz guitar, crate-digging, and hands-on beat-making, resulting in a style that weaves nostalgic melodies, gritty rhythms, and low-end pressure into something both timeless and forward-thinking.
In addition to performances at Telluride Town Park, attendees can expect curated late-night programming throughout downtown Telluride, along with access to hiking, exploration, and the region’s renowned outdoor beauty. Camp Alderwild is all-ages, and camping options will again be available for those looking to fully immerse themselves in the experience. More details on ticketing, camping passes, and presales will be announced soon.
Camp Alderwild is proudly co-promoted by Planet Bluegrass and AEG Presents in partnership with Of The Trees, and Kompass Music Group uniting Planet Bluegrass’s decades-long legacy of sustainable, community-driven festivals with AEG’s global expertise in live event production. Together, the partners continue to thoughtfully reimagine what an electronic music gathering can look like in Telluride—one rooted in respect, creativity, and connection.

The project unfolds as a fully realized world - bridging downtempo electronica, cinematic ambient textures, and experimental hip-hop - rooted in themes of environmental preservation, intentional living, and escapism through imagination.
Recent singles include “Dolori” (Jan. 16), his first solo release in over two years and an introspective, emotionally charged piece built on lush ambient textures that quickly became a centerpiece of his 2025 live performances, and “Look Into My Eyes” (Jan. 30), a bold, genre-blurring collaboration with GRAMMY-nominated duo EARTHGANG. Together, the tracks establish the emotional and sonic foundation of Moonglade Park - a concept-first album designed to be experienced as an immersive journey where sound, story, and setting are treated as one cohesive artistic vision.
