Ten Years of Heldeep: Oliver Heldens Celebrates a Decade of Sound, Community, and Creativity at ADE
From bedroom beginnings to a global imprint, Heldeep Records’ tenth anniversary brought fans and friends together for an unforgettable night at Melkweg, capped by a surprise B2B2B with Tchami and Don Diablo
Amsterdam, Netherlands — Wednesday night at Melkweg, Oliver Heldens marked a major milestone for his imprint Heldeep Records with a special ten-year anniversary showcase during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). The sold-out event brought together fans, artists, and label friends for a night that reflected both Heldeep’s history and its continued role in shaping the sound of modern dance music.
The evening opened with a warm-up set from Tollef, followed by a steady progression of energy through performances by Lee Foss and Tchami. The night’s biggest surprise came when Heldens was joined on stage by Tchami and Don Diablo for a first-ever back-to-back-to-back set — an unexpected collaboration between three leading figures in electronic music that drew one of the loudest reactions of ADE so far. The trio’s chemistry and shared musical roots made for a seamless mix of styles, bridging house, future, and melodic sounds.
Heldens later returned for a solo performance that traced his own evolution over the past decade—from his breakout moment with “Gecko (Overdrive)” to his deeper, more techno-influenced work as HI-LO. The night concluded with Chocolate Puma, whose closing set served as a reminder of the Dutch scene’s longstanding influence and its connection to Heldeep’s identity.
What Heldeep is to Heldens
Founded in 2015, Heldeep Records began as Heldens’ personal creative outlet and has since grown into a respected international label, known for discovering new talent while supporting established artists. Over the past ten years, it has released hundreds of tracks across house, tech house, and melodic techno, amassing billions of streams and hosting events from Miami to Tokyo. Beyond its catalog, Heldeep has built a strong community around a shared passion for quality, forward-thinking dance music.
Reflecting on the night, Heldens said: “Heldeep has always been about creative freedom and connection. Celebrating ten years surrounded by so many friends and supporters means a lot. I couldn’t think of a better place to do it than Amsterdam during ADE.”
The 10 Years of Heldeep event underscored what the label has achieved so far — and hinted that its next chapter is only just beginning.
