Back for its 4th installment, Alaska’s largest electronic music festival lands at the beautiful Ninilchik, AK. More than just a music event, Sacre Acre is a movement of sound and sustainability. This year’s mission statement is to protect Mother Nature’s vast oceans, specifically addressing the corporate overuse of trawling: the art of fishing by dragging gigantic nets through different layers of the ocean to procure different species of fish.
Where music and nature collide!
Delivering a wide array of world-renowned artists, Sacred Acres is “ where the bass echoes the urgency of protecting the Berring Sea from factory trawling and bycatch destruction.” Set for September 5th-7th, this year’s headliners are something from another planet. Known for his trap-infused style of bass music, this genre-blending electronic maestro known as Troy Boi is sure to set the vibes right as one of the headlining acts. Jade Cicada, recently announced as one of the accompanying acts of Of The Trees Camp Alderwild, will also headline. Jade Cicada’s experimental rhythms and futuristic vibes are sure to blend immaculately with this festival under the stars.
Joining these two tenacious leaders on their cosmic mission are the ranks of Desert Dwellers, Dirt Monkey, and Emancipator. A groovy mixture of hybrid DJs and live performers includes The Funk Hunters, Lazy Syrup Orchestra, G-Space, Phyphr, and McWavy. The lineup also highlights the rising talents of Mantra Sounds and an eclectic B2B between Meduso and MLOTIK! But music is just the beginning…Through immersive experiences, educational workshops, and direct action, we invite every attendee to help protect our oceans and preserve the delicate balance of our ecosystems.
