Earlier this year, German electronic music legend ATB announced that he would release his final studio album in 2025. With an incredible career that includes a total of 10 studio albums and over 55 gold and platinum awards in numerous countries, ATB has always gone the extra yard with his studio albums, routinely releasing double album projects that feature a disc aimed for the dance floor and a separate disc curated for the comedown, crafted with beautiful soundscapes.
The news initially sparked concerns among fans, many of whom feared this might mark the end of ATB’s legendary career. However, the artist has reassured his supporters that while this will indeed be his last album, it does not signify his retirement from music. In a statement to the media, ATB confirmed that he will continue to create new music and perform live at shows worldwide. This album represents the closing of one chapter, but the beginning of another in his ongoing journey as a musician.
To emphasize his ongoing commitment to music, ATB recently dropped his latest single, “DON’T STOP,” in collaboration with UK sensation Dopamine, who gained international recognition for the hit track “FRIDAY” with Riton. The single, released at the end of August, has garnered significant attention and showcases ATB’s continued evolution and creativity in the electronic music scene.
ATB will celebrate his legacy with his fans on the road this fall with his “Don’t Stop” US Tour PT.2 This unique tour will allow the fans to hear all the ATB classics but with special attention given to unreleased music that will appear on the final studio album. The “Don’t Stop” US Tour PT.2 kicks off November 1 in Minneapolis and continues through American cities, including Chicago, Austin, Sunnyvale, Costa Mesa, and Orlando for EDC Orlando.
ATB had his big breakthrough moment with his hit single “9pm (Till I Come)” in 1998. The track took the German producer and DJ to the top of the UK singles charts, becoming the first dance song to reach number 1 in the UK. But that’s not all: ATB’s debut single also peaked in several top 10 charts worldwide, including the US Billboard charts, and opened the door for dance music on mainstream radio.
His creative spirit continued to flourish with an impressive series of hits, including “Don’t Stop,” “Ecstasy,” “Let U Go,” “What About Us,” “Move On” and “When It Ends It Starts Again.” On top of this, ATB has been non-stop in the renowned DJ Mag Top 100 ranking for almost two decades now.
Fans can look forward to more music, live performances, and exciting projects from ATB in the years to come as he continues to push boundaries and inspire the next generation of artists.
