Somewhere between the touring headliners and the adults-only, mega EDM festivals is a three-day event where camping in tents, fire spinning, and B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Bicycle) are encouraged. Serenity Gathering brings one of the most unique “open-air education” festivals to the grounds of Woodward Reservoir April 26-28 for a three day, family-friendly experience bringing both art and music to focus.
Serenity Gathering is gearing up to host some of the biggest touring acts in the country, like this years headliner Troyboi. With Deadbeats 420, Electric Daisy Carnival – Japan and Spring Awakening on the list of festival stops, Troyboi’s tracks should start to make their way onto your pre-festival playlist if they are not already.
While Kill the Noise and Blunts & Blondes are some of the bigger artists that will be supplying the energy, another part of the lineup was created to fulfill the equally necessary chill vibes reinforcing Serenity Gathering’s “three G’s”: “Good Vibes, Good Music, Good People”. The phase 3 lineup was released as the “Psytrance Lineup”, with over 30 DJs taking the stage to provide a change of pace from the more popular dubstep and chill trap genres represented in the second phase of lineups. The tracks on the “Serenity Gathering 2019” Spotify playlist feature artists from different genres but the music blends nicely with one another as to not be a jarring change of sounds or tempo from song to song.
