When Zeds Dead released their first full-length studio album, Northern Lights, last October, they satiated months of fervent anticipation from their dedicated community. In the time since, DC and Hooks have been working with a number of heavily-leaning artists to compile an official EP of Northern Lights remixes, following up March’s “Frontlines” remix package.

The first track off the compilation, which will be released Friday, June 9, via the duo’s Deadbeats imprint, is Delta Heavy‘s formidable rendition of one of the Atlas-assisted “Lights Out.” The track begins on a meaningful and melodic note, progressing to the signature kind of dubstep drop one would expect from Delta Heavy, and eventually becomes layered with subtle DnB elements over the song’s ethereal chorus line.
