Painting a journey with his arrangement of unfolding funky-mellow sounds, Kid Froopy releases his latest single, “Dreams” off of Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats imprint. After his first single, “bb (four missed texts),” the producer has grown in popularity, and most recently was featured for his work on remix albums for Terror Jr’s “Come First” and Zeds Dead x NGHTMRE’s “Frontlines.”
Describing the ultimate creation process, Kid Froopy uses an entanglement of experiences to create a vision for his track’s impact:
“This song’s that foggy hungover feeling after a long night out. Push and pull between fuck it and regret. Orange juice with the grey stuff you cough up. Fleetwood Mac meets Mike Will Made It on two shots of Nyquil watching scuba diving videos.”
Envisioning the perfect Sunday morning tune, “Dreams” incorporates a perfect balance of silky vocals layered euphoniously with subtle waves of electronic synths.
