Additionally, we’ve provided our top picks from within The DA Hot 25, highlighting two standout tracks.
The Heat of the Week: Seven Lions Feat. Skyler Stonestreet – Freesol
Out this week on Seeking Blue Records came the extremely emotional future bass masterpiece that Jeff Montalvo featured every single night of his recent Journey Tour. “Freesol” begins carefully and atmospherically, progressing around Stonestreet’s atmospheric vocals with some masterful Seven Lions synth patterns and fluttering harmonics.
The Breakout Select: Electric Touch – A R I Z O N A
A soulful ballad with a happy-go-lucky appeal, this house track pulls on the sunset style with it’s bouncy lyrics and downright sexy use of the saxophone. The songwriter/producer trio from Jersey came together at their apartment in Boston, and are now signed to Atlantic Records working on their debut album.
