Sweater Beats’ penchant for pop music is on full display with his new single “Altar.” While typically known for his cinematic future bass style and all-around savvy beat work, the LA-based producer has seemingly embarked on a crossover conquest, championing anthemic singles with immediate mainstream appeal.

While the intended audience may have expanded, Sweater Beats’ characteristically charming sound design and drum programming remains as alluring as ever. New song “Altar” for instance, which features R.LUM.R, combines lush chord stabs with syncopated guitar rhythms for a truly engrossing pop assemblage.
