Dutch/Caribbean talent Andy Sherman has entered 2017 with fresh musical prospects. Previously known for his part in long serving electronic R&B duo Shermanology, the renowned producer turns to his lesser known garage routes for an unprecedented 2017 debut on Tchami’s coveted Confession imprint.
Channeling heavyset two-step finesse and an infectious (though subtly familiar) vocal sample, “Swagga” points to a lesser seen and beautifully unpolished take on the modern house sound true to the label’s efforts to bring fresh and raw club energy to the forefront. One would struggle to find a stronger inauguration into the world of raw house with a serious sense of bass favoritism than found in Andy Sherman’s Confession debut.
