Last year, amidst a huge breakout streak for burgeoning trap don NGHTMRE, the young LA-based producer linked up with Zeds Dead for a vibrant future-bass offering called “Frontlines,” featuring GG Magree. Dynamic vocal work, popping percussion, and soaring synth arrangements give the tune both dance floor and headphone appeal.

Now, Zeds Dead and NGHTMRE have delivered the animated visual accompaniment to their collaboration, sharing a space voyage-inspired cartoon music video directed by Chris Yee. Intergalactic fight sequences, extraterrestrial dinosaurs and splashes of neon illustration come together in Zeds Dead and NGHTMRE’s new short, along with even more new material.

Following the new video’s release, the Canadian producers have lined up an official remix package for the collaboration on their newly established Deadbeats imprint. Roping in contributions from Aazar, Wuki, Megalodon, Crankdat and more, the new collection will feature eight new takes on “Frontlines”and is slated for a March 17 release date.
