Zed’s Dead’s multifaceted label ‘Deadbeats’ has gained quite the reputation for releasing dark and genre-bending music from today’s industry heavyweights and the promising up-and-coming artists of tomorrow. Now, following their first compilation release in February which featured REZZ, Memorecks, and Megalodon, Deadbeats has presented us with a sultry, emotional new collaboration from two praised artists on the rise.

Within the past year, Pham and Sober Rob have both individually tipped hats with their meticulous sound design and leading-edge production. Now, they have teamed up with rising LA based vocalist, Madi, and have curated a downtempo track titled ‘Alibi’ that blurs the line between a haunting heart-break anthem and a hit future-bass track for festival stages around the world. Each artist adds their own dosage of creative flare, with Pham darkening the song with his signature enigmatic saw waves and Sober Rob pulling the listener into a dream-like trance. Rich with dark undertones, driving percussion, and Madi’s chilling vocals, ‘Alibi’ is a collaboration where all the right puzzle pieces fit together, giving us a breath of fresh air with experimental sounds.

If you haven’t heard of Pham and Sober Rob yet, then make sure to stream ‘Alibi’ below:
