It’s not the first time Snoop Dogg has dabbled in electronic music. He’s collaborated with Datsik, DJ’d on Boiler Room as DJ Snoopadelic, and showed off his EDM side with LA Party Machine. But this is the first time he’s found himself in a featured spot on an Armada Records release. The West Coast gangster rapper and marijuana aficionado teams up with Jacky Greco, Arlissa, and Jakk City for “Blow.” It’s a familiar trip down familiar territory for not only Snoop, but the entire Armada Records family.  A catchy jaunt (or should we say joint) that features Snoop’s lighthearted verses and a tried and true dance pop instrumental, “Blow” takes the double time, island-inspired production flavor of the month and rinses and repeats. It’s certainly a going to be a bottle service club hit thanks to Jacky Greco’s soaring vocals, Snoop’s infectious flow, and some R&B touches from Arlissa and Jakk City but we hardly expect this one to “Blow” up.
