Kendl – For Her (Original Mix)

During the recent the boom of electronic music, Australia’s scene has seen much of its spotlight fall on future bass and trap heavy-hitters of Australia’s with the success of names like Flume, What So Not, and Alison Wonderland. However, champions of more sublime genres like Rüfüs Dü Sol, Flight Facilities, and Ta-ku have also seen large amounts of success across the globe, and a new act by the name of Kendl may be the next to join the group.

The Melbourne-based producer recently re-booted his project with a flip of Little Dragon, which he subsequently followed up with an original via Big Beat called “Drive Slow.” Returning with a new original titled “For Her,” Kendl shows off the deepest and darkest piece of work to emerge from his catalog. “For Her” is a brooding combinations of echoing drums, wallowing bass, and gloomy synths that many may say draws inspiration from artists like Four Tet or Bonobo.
