A rising force in the tech house scene, Miami-based artist m.O.N.R.O.E. has been able to forge a mesmeric and distinct disposition in every track he touches. While creating such an experience within a song is no easy feat, the developing producer is capable of administering the right type of rhythms and vibes to pack in a powerful effect on any listener. For his newest project, he’s tapped producer Daniel Dubb to create a two-track EP, released through the quickly-growing Desert Hearts imprint.

The EP itself tells two stories, both inspired by the artists’ own prolific experiences at Burning Man. The titular track “Around The Black Rock” spouts a concoction of dizzying rhythms and positive energy, composed from the day-to-day debauchery that transpires on the playa. With this new release – and it’s lighter, more subdued B-side, “I Know” – both producers elevate their well-defined artistry to ambitious heights. Even more exciting, m.O.N.R.O.E. will also be making his Desert Hearts Festival debut this spring.
